David Boreanaz tells TV Guide that Ryan O'Neal's been cast to play his
father in an upcoming episode of Fox's "Bones," which David Duchovny
will direct. Lookswise, O'Neal's not a far stretch from Boreanaz's
real-life dad, 6ABC's Dave Roberts.
Roberts calls the casting of O'Neal "a great choice," and remembers
working with the actor on a 1960's Variety Club telethon.
