In Deadly Toys, Gorshin played Dr. Hoffman, the
evil toymaker and the old friend of Steve's who turns
out to be Hoffman's accomplice was Major Dexter,
though I can't recall right now his first name. John
Rubenstein, who played Dexter, is on that show Ally McBeal
