Just to let you know I've uploaded The Mind Robber Part Three.
This is going to be a hell of a weekend.
Pertwee's last episode and Bakers First on UKGOLD.
The 5 Dalek episodes on Bank Holiay monday not to mention the TV
Movie on the Sci Fi channel. Superb.
Man City even won at Anfield.
I've used a similar style to the previous epeisode of Mind Robber.
It's my first effort, so be gentle with me. Episode four and Five are
in the Pipeline over the next couple of weeks or so.
Cheers Tom
I'm in the process of transcribing the fourth and fifth episode of
the Mind Robber. I've pretty much finished the dialogue and I'm noe
on to the stage directions.
However, one scene is giving me problems. It is about a third of the
way through episode 4. Zoe and The Doctor get into a fight with a
character called The Karkus. I've pretty much sorted out all the
overlapping dialogue except for three lines from Zoe.
1. She flips The Karkus over for the first time and says something to
the Doctor which seems to end in the word '-..... me'
2. She later flips the Karkus again, and again makes a comment which
is muffled but seems to end in 'you' or 'two'
3. She then overpowers the Karkus and says 'You better submit you
know....(Inaudible line)...only take a certain amount of pressure.
The soundtrack on the video I have is not fantastic, If any one has a
better quality track or a copy of the Novellisation which can shed
light on these lines, please let me know either here or directly on
my e-mail
Cheers
Tom
1. What Zoe says here is "Lesson Seventeen". She was then supposed to
say "from the Mind Training School" but Wendy Padbury missed this
part of the line out on recording (It was in the camera script)
2) Here she says "Lesson Thirty-two"
3) Difficult! I picked out "...on Earth could" before "could only
take a certain amount of pressure" referring to someone but
Christopher Robbie's cries of pain (!) are too loud to hear what is
being said - have to wait for the DVD I suspect.

Are we talking about the BBCi version or the old S17 version?

If it's the TV version, then it's done, done and dusted (linking
narration an' all!) If it's the BBCi version you're talking about,
it was done by Big Finish (as was Real Time with Colin Baker) so I
thought that transcripts of those were out of bounds?
Double_xx2003
Does anyone know the reason that Big Finish had for not allowing
anyone to transcribe the stories? I know that Sirens of Time was on
the site at one point...
Seeing that we're not aloud to post them here or on any website, if
anyone has transcripts of the BF audios, would we be aloud to
circulate them amongst ourselves? If this is also against what Big
Finish want, then forgive me- no illgal intention here!
Double_xx2003
I can only imagine that they didn`t want their stories transcribed
and available on the web was because they were planning on releasing
their script books.Perhaps the situation may change when the stories
start being deleted and are no longer commercially available...
as soon as I receive a reply to my Email I`ll post it here.

Day of the Daleks (4). Note that there was a small error in the
credits on the previous episodes of this story. The Doctor should
have been credited as Dr. Who and not Doctor Who.
Hi Everyone!
I've just gotten back on-line again I thought I better see what's happening
here. Boy, you've all been busy! Before I go into what you've been doing, let me
explain myself (ie, Where the heck have I been?)
I'll try to make it short:
September 2002 - Switched jobs and didn't have much time for anything.
December 2002 - Phone got disconnected for an extended time. Quit above
mentioned job due managerial conflicts. That, and the place got robbed twice in
three days.
March 2003 - Sometime about here (I think) is when the domain went down.
Obviously, this was due to lack of payment (still no job at the time). Towards
the end of the month I finally got another job AND had the phone turned back on!
From here to May I was working on paying other bills.
May 2003 - My Dad had a heart attack early in the month. He had a quadrupple
by-pass and was expected to be out of work for three months. Obviously, I had to
put certain things on hold.... (ie, ISP, domain, etc.).
June - Dad's doing great! He was even permitted to go back to work. He's only
allowed to do extra light duty, part-time and only four to five hours two to
three times a week. Bills are caught up and I finally am able to get an ISP
again!
This brings us to the present. I AM investigating options for the site and DO
plan to work with it again. The only difference will be that I'm dropping all
the other stuff and concentrating on the DWTP this time!
As to what you all have been doing:
I've only been able to scan the messages headers and read a few, so please bear
with me.
If I understand it right, all of Hartnell is complete?! If this is so, that's
great! It's exactly what I wanted to see for the site for the 40th Anniversary!
I also see that several people have taken it upon themselves to make mirrors of
the site. I think that it was a wonderful idea and full support mirrors of the
site! However, I must warn you that I've not been idle these past few months.
I've done an extensive reworking of the site with a completely new layout. If
you're planning on keeping an exact mirror of the site, you'll have some work to
do :).
I've also seen some issues brought up concerning writer credits on several
episodes. I will deal with these before the new site is put up. However, please
be aware that I don't have any way to verify some things, so it may be ommited.
Or, I have just put up what the transcriber suppied and haven't verified it yet.
Or, I just over-looked it. See, there's a rational explaination for everything!
:)
Fonts: I've always been supportive of this idea, but never had time to implement
much of it into the site. With the dropping of other projects, I'll give it a go
again. Thanks for posting more info in this John!
Finally, I do have a new e-mail address (kingspyder@...), but, please
don't bombard me with transcripts yet. I need to get organized and verify that
my copy of the site is in working order. It's been a few weeks since I looked at
it and I'm not sure what kind of state I left it in. I'll let you all know when
I'm ready and when the site goes live again. However, don't hesitate to send
comments or questions to me personally, if you wish.
Thanks for your time. Hopefully I won't disappear for so long again.
Take care,
Artimus (KingSpyder)
Welcome back, KingSpyder- good to see you once again! Glad to hear
that everything was okay with your father and I hope he fully
recovers soon!
Good news about the site. As for fonts, I'm still researching the
7th Doctor, but other than that- they are all here!
Best wishes and great to see that the site is not dead yet!
Double_XX2003
I must apologise - I've been promising the transcript of Earthshock
for years, it seems! University takes up most of my time and most of
my holiday time is taken up with house chores and my job stacking
shelves. I just can't seem to find the time for Earthshock.
I wouldn't like to promise anything and then break it, but I hope to
get Part One down withing the next week/ 2 weeks and then I'll get
going with the next parts, hopefully quickly and hopefuly before the
DVD in August!
Apologies and Kind Regards, Robert :)
Hello once again!
Just a quick note to let you all know what I discovered while getting the site
organized. I found that I really didn't have the entire site complete AND I
still had links to the other stuff I was doing on KingSpyder's World. So, I have
to finish what I starteded as well as remove all the other stuff. This will take
some time.
However, I have uploaded a preview at http://dwtp.topcities.com/
Please give this a look, give me your comments (good or bad) and give
suggestions. Please note: I am going to resurect the Documentaries and Sketches
sections so, no need to suggest that! :)
Take care,
KingSpyder

Hmm, I didn't seem to write anything ... hmm
Anyway, what I wanted to say was that the new format looks much
neater and more straightforward - text on right, links on left. Good
work, old bean! Hopefully if your site crashes again, we may get some
warning and not have heart attacks! ;-)
