Thanks very much for your response Bill!
The poem of yours we're both referring to, was such a delight, it's one of the
very few posts I've actually saved for "all time".
The BSG miniseries is actually something that would be very hard to omit at this
time, since by rights it's part of, or at least mentioned with, every available
dvd set I've seen, but since it's such an organic <g> part of the series, I felt
I should remind you of it anyhow.
You'll be fine I'm sure, sticking with coffee; unfortunately, I too find age
starting to make its presence known. It's just that I do like a good beer when
watching a good film or TV episode, meaning something other than an ice cool
lager!
Cheers,
- George -
(I've been sticking to the old Yahoo mail but since my last post came out quite
jumbled - at least to me it did - I have now switched to the
not-so-new-one-anymore.)

George and CR,
Good to hear from both of you. Wasn't that long ago CR, that you assisted as
"tour guide" for Warren and I on our NZ trip, and without you we would
still be trying to find that waterfalls. And George, the advice of a man
with such obvious good taste in poetry is always to be valued.
Do appreciate the heads up on the mini series, that might have slipped under
my radar, and I'd have been busting Jeannine's fishsticks when I couldn't
make head or tail out of what was going on in season 1. I looked at prices
on Amazon, and found season 1, complete with mini series for about $23.00,
which is pretty reasonable. After that you have to be a little careful, as
the seasons are split into 2 parts, so they are about twice as expensive.
There's no big rush here, as we are still in season 1 of "Deadwood", and
have a multitude of four letter words to look forward to before concluding
that series.
And by the way George, think we will stick with coffee over beer, a
concession to old age, need something to keep us awake you know.
Bill
