HI Everyone,


It has been a long time since I posted to this message board. I too, love
BSG. The old series, the mini-series, and the new series that lasted for
quite a long time. It was a series that was very well done. I loved the way
it
was shot, like as if the viewer were right there in the room with the
characters. That's the way it felt to me anyway. Everything about that series
was
a commentary on what is going on right here on earth right now. Ronald D.
Moore who worked on the series also worked for Gene Roddenberry on Star Trek
TNG, and later on ST: DS9 and ST: Voyager.


The concept of bringing real world issues into BSG I believe stemmed from
his days of working on the Star Trek series. I loved BSG and would like to
see see it all from beginning to end. My favorite characters I loved to hate:
Gais Baltar, John Caval (cylon), Deanna Beers (cylon #3 played by our Lucy)
and a few others. My favorites: Lee Adama, Kara Thrace, Sharon Valeri (cylon
turned to loyal Colonial member and mother of Hera). I have a lot of others,
but not enough time to list them all.
