Re: [Whoosh!] Battlestar Gallactica

Hi Bill,

Never got on any lists for BSG, I actually have a life after Xena which is
hard to believe. :-)

BSG from start to finish was the best scifi on TV for my dollar, and it will
be a long time before something of this quality of production and writing
comes around this way again.

I thought the ending was great, it tied everything up into a perpetual
mythical loop so you can enjoy it over and over again. It made me think for
hours
afterwards about how it ended. Much like The Shield did, if you watch that
series to it's end.

I was most happy to find that Starbuck really did die in season 3, and was
an angle this whole last season (though she didn't know it till the end). It
makes her choice of a tattoo all that more meaningful in season 2.

I never thought I would say this after Xena, but I might actually buy this
whole show and keep it for future viewing.

How about you? Did you like BSG?

Jeannine

So Jeannine, I know you have been a big fan of this show, was wondering if
the final season maintained the same quality as the preceding ones for you,
and did the Grand Finale live up to your expectations? (Grand Finales can
sometimes be disappointing, not pointing any fishsticks. I mean fingers, at
anyone here mind you). I've read some pro and con comments at places like
Gateworld, wondered what you thoughts were.
