Does anyone know if a legit DVD release is planned anytime soon. Because
I am seriously thinking about spending the 45 bucks on this bootleg
edition. I would hate to find out a kick ass release with tons of extras
and a Don McKellar Molly Parker commentary track was schedule for
release in the next year or so (fingers crossed).

TWITCH CITY (98-00) complete, uncensored 13-episode run of this
short-lived but highly entertaining and offbeat sitcom from Canada.
Directed by Bruce McDonald (Roadkill, Hardcore Logo, Highway 61) and
starring Don McKellar (who co-wrote) and Molly Parker (Kissed; The
Center of the World), the show is set in Toronto’s Kensington Market
and revolves around an agoraphobic slacker named Curtis who NEVER leaves
his apartment house, subsists on a steady diet of Frooty-Os cereal and
The Rex Reilly Show (a talk show best described as Geraldo on acid), and
supports his so-called lifestyle by renting out rooms to an assortment
of oddballs for exorbitant sums of money. Both clever and unpredictable,
it’s that rarest of creatures: a sitcom that’s actually FUNNY. Each
volume sold separately for the usual prices ($15 for video, $20 for DVD)
or pick up the whole set for the bargain price of $30 for video, $45 for
DVD. Look at all you get:
TWITCH CITY VOL. 1 "I Slept With My Mother", "My Pet, My Hero", "I Look
Like Joyce DeWitt", "People Who Fight Too Much", "I’m Fat and I’m Proud"
TWITCH CITY VOL. 2 "Killed By Cat Food", "Return of the Cat Food
Killer", "Shinto Death Cults", "Klan Bake", "People Who Don’t Care About
Anything"
TWITCH CITY VOL. 3 "The Planet of the Cats", "The Life of Reilly",
"Angels All Week"
