i. I have the soundtrack for FWWM and it has
Falling on it. She also sings some other songs, one being
the Mockingbird. Yeah, I remember Falling being on
the Top 10 in 1990 also. I did not know that there
are two tp soundtracks. I'll have to look for the
other, although I have a feeling that the songs seem the
same. The only problem with the FWWM soundtrack is that
most of the songs were remixes of other songs on the
CD which made it a bit repetitive.
ing... I am starting to think that he was not the good
cooper, but the bad cooper.<br>I cannot explain why Laura
was in the black lodge... I can only assume that (as
someone said in the series) when you die you go thorugh
the black lodge and you face the dweller of the
threshold (evil Laura), and if you are blave you pass
through the black lodge to the white lodge. I think the
Laura's doppelganger (the dweller of the threshold) must
stay there, while the good laura passes on to the
white lodge, so in theory, Laura remains in the white
lodge while a carbon copy (the doppelganger)
remains...<br><br>You say you have the CD...which on do you have
because there are two...the soundtrack to the series, and
the soundtrack to "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me"...
I haven't listened to either... but I love
"Falling" by Julee Cruise... I remember when it got in the
top ten in 1990. That song is magic.
ust to update my first comment, I now own all of
the series, the FWWM and the prequill, as well as the
cd. now all i need is the books and i'm set!<br>I
have to admit that I was a little disappointed at the
last episode. It was cool when Cooper came across the
dobblegangers (*chill*) but i think there should be a third
season. what do you think might happen if there is a
third season?
know that the reason Laura took the ring was
that she wanted to end her life instead of being
possessed by Bob, but I think Cooper might have been able
to save her in some way if she was possessed, even
though he couldn't save Leland. That's a good point. The
ring was a sign of being married to the black lodge
perhaps since the MFAP stated "with this ring, I thee
wed."<br><br>One think that's been bothering me is that why did
Cooper see the dobbleganger laura in the black lodge if
she was saved by the angel?
don't think it was Judy who had thew monkey
face... I think that was Mrs Tremond/Chalfont's grandson.
But they say that the monkey says "judy, judy, judy"
if you listen closely...<br><br>you know, I never
thought that was a monkey... I always thought it was an
owl... but then I realised it had no beak...<br><br>I
heard somewhere that Cary Grant said "judy judy judy"
in onee of his movies... and when coop went
undercover at One eyed Jacks Blackie w\said he looked like
"Cary", so maybe Philip Jefferies (David Bowie) mistakes
Coop for Cary Grant. I still don't know what that
means though.<br><br>Later,<br>r_r<br>BTW~ is everyone
here a member of double r diner another cool peakers
club? and is everyone here subscribed to the Circular
Report?
ey, you said you liked it when cooper told laura not to take the ring... what do
you think that meant? I mean I thought it was the ring that saved her from
bob!!!
ho is Judy? I know that she's got a monkey face but who is she? Also, in FWWM,
where did the agent go at the beginning? Is he also trapped in the lodges?
onsider yourself lucky that you have 3 copies when i can't find any. thanks for
the advise. I have already looked in used book stores, but maybe in Canada
there aren't any copies left.
f anyone knows where I can buy or at least read
the Secret Diary of Laura Palmer, please let me know!
I've been looking for it for a couple of years and
have not found it yet. Especially if you know where I
can get it in Ontario, Canada.
y favorite scene in FWWM would have to be when
Laura has the dream and is told by Cooper to not take
the ring, and she wakes up with the ring in her left
hand. One of my favorite scenes in the series is at Laura's
funeral when Leland hops on her casket crying. I actually
like most scenes of the series, it's hard to pick one.
That was the one that came to mind.I can't think of a
quote right now. I'll get back to you. I own the series
except 8-10 and 25-29. I will own it soon. I also own
the pilot and FWWM. I've read the book on Agent Dale
Cooper, and am desperately looking for the Secret Diary
of Laura Palmer.misty

ey Julia,<br><br>There is a Lost Higway site
which explins (or at least tries to) really well... if
you can't find it, I would be happy to summarise what
it says... get back to me...<br><br>Also, did you
pick up on the TP links???<br><br>From
Robbie_Rocket!<br><br>(at last someone brave enough to put a message
up...*s*)
es ive seen lost highway, have it on tape actually. ive watched it five or six
times and im still trying to understand the damn thing, but that doesnt stop me
from liking it ;)<br><br>juliamaxx
Y FAVOURITE TWIN PEAKS SCENE IS IN THE PILOT
WHEN THE REALISATION THAT LAURA IS DEAD SET'S IN (OR
RATHER THE SUPPOSITON)... IT IS VERY ATMOSPHERIC WHEN
SARAH PALMER GETS THE TELEPHONE CALL AND BREAKS DOWN...
ALSO WHEN DONNA SEES LAURA'S EMPTTY SEAT AND KNOWS
THAT LAURA IS DEAD... IT IS TRULY THE MOST EMOTION
SCENE(S) ON TELEVISON TO DATE... I FEEL LIKE CRYING WHEN I
WATCH THEM...<br><br>IN FIRE WALK WITH ME, MY FAVOURITE
SCENE IS WHEN RONETTE'S ANGEL APPEARS TO SAVE HERE... I
LIKE THE SUDDEN SILENCE... IT SUCKS ME IN EVERY TIME.
<br><br>MY FAVOURITE TP/FWWM QUOTE IS IN FIRE WALK WITH ME
WHEN LAURA AND DONNA ARE LAZING AROUND ON THE COUCH
AND DONNA ASKS:<br><br>"DONNA: Do you think that if
you were falling in space you would slow down after a
while or go faster and faster?<br><br>LAURA: Faster and
faster. For a long time you wouldn't feel anything. Then
you would burst nto fire... forever. And the angels
wouldn't help you... because they've all gone
away."<br><br>THIS MAKES ME SAD, THE WAY LAURA FEELS ALONE, HER
ANGEL HAS ABANDONED HER... SHE IS TOTALLY VICTIMISED...
UNFORTUNATLEY SHE OVERLOOKS THE FACT THAT YOU DON'T ACCELERATE
(NOR FALL) IN SPACE... BUT I CAN OVERLOOK THAT
MYSELF...<br><br>LATER,<br>ROBBIE_ROCKET
ey guys...<br><br>...well I think you probably
already know this, but there is another Twin Peaks club
that has been established a little longer than your...
it is called Double R Diner and is located in the TV
Shows zone... it is pretty lame, but that is only
because no one is brave enough to post a valid message...
Any way, if you go there, the creators have a home
page and through that home page you can subscribe to
the best Twin Peaks nes letter around call the
circular report... you are all probably subscribed, and I
am sure you all love it, so maybe I am wasting my
energy typing this out, but if you aren't subscribed, I
(and the other hundreds subscribed) thoroughly
recommend you subsrciube for it... you can post messages on
it. If you subscribe I guarantee you will learn heaps
more theories and goss about the show, then is enough
to Blow your mind. Well, maybe I am exaggerating,
but it is cool. You all seem devoted peakers, so I
thought I would share, I would feel totally rejected if
there was a publication as cool right behind me (and I
was too dumb to turn around because I might get dizzy
and fall over)... anyways that is that.<br><br>And
also to the 20 y-o guy who was too yougn for tp... I
thoroughly understand. I am 18 and when TP was on teev I was
in Grade six... only one other guy watched it
because the other kiddies were in bed by 8:30pm... so
they missed out... That kind of sucked, because now
all my friends are like (what the hell is a twin
peak?)...<br><br>But I do miss it... has anyone seen Lost Highway , by
Lynch also? Or any of his other movies? <br><br>I
really wanna keep typing, but i am afraid you will see
how long this message is an avoid it!!!<br><br>So Yo
Later,<br>Robbie_Rocket!
keep hearing about industrial symphony, the
video project David Lynch did with Julee Crusie and
Angelo Badalamenti. Can someone explain in detail what
it is, and if it is still
available???<br><br><br>BTW, i'm now on about tape 4 of the box set...<br>it's
getting out of control....
he most exciting gift i ever got was probly the
tp collection, that was about 2 years ago 4 xmas.
every episode (except 4 the first one, the two hour
movie pilot) is included. i watch them just about every
chance i get, and sometimes have my own mini-marathons
(yeah i know its kinda pathetic, but it passes lonely
fridays at college when i have nothing to do cuz i have
no car...)
ey- what's up??<br>i was too young to watch Twin
Peaks when it first aired, but i'm making up for lost
time.<br>I just bought the 29 episode box set, and i am
currently at episode 6 (i think).<br>I've seen them before,
but it's more personal now- since i own the whole
damn show!<br>favorite characters so far:<br>audrey
horne and katherine martell<br>i detest:<br>mike,
donna's boyfriend; and dr. jacoby- glad he got knocked
down when he went to meet 'Laura' at the
gazebo.<br><br>the only thing i watch on TV now is the video set, so
i'll you you all know how it's coming along.
