A couple of bits of Iris/Paul M related news recently.

First of all, Paul's latest 'Brenda and Effie' novel, Conjugal Rites,
is out soon. It's replays and then follows on from the recent BBC7
audio series, and is available for pre-order from our friends at

Also, a four CD Iris Wildthyme mini-series is coming out in February
2009, starring Iris and Panda (and thankfully no mention of Tom, who
was pretty poorly acted in the first two releases I thought).

Each of the cds pastiches one of the four decades that Doctor Who has
been on telly:

60s - The Sound of Fear - Mark Michalowski
70s - Land of Wonder - Paul Magrs
80s - The Two Irises - Simon Guerrier
90s - Invasion of the Pandas - Mark Magrs

I don't know anything about the latter two stories but both Mark
Michalowski and Paul Magrs' stories sound extremely funny.
