Welcome to the yahoo group for the sci-fi TV series "Torchwood". It is here for discussion and for the weekly schedule column "Torchwood This Week", detailing all known broadcasts of the show.

Created by Russell T. Davies, Torchwood explores an elite British group that investigates alien activities, while keeping an eye out for advanced technology. Darker and aimed at a more "adult" audience than Doctor Who.

Membership will be approved manually. Write a sentence or two so we can keep out spammers. Spamming will lead to your removal.

Insults, general rudeness, or continued inappropriate spoilering can place you on hand-moderation. Questions on moderation and/or spoilers go to the moderators or the list owner, not the group.

Do not list spoilers in the subject line of a post. Give the episode number, title, or broadcast date and note "spoiler", then leave spoiler space in the message before discussing a spoiler. Any aspects of the show can be discussed, but you must be considerate to each other and to the people involved in making Torchwood (actors, writers, directors, and crew). Remember the difference between the character and the actor.

Torchwood Series 1 and 2 (including radio plays) are not spoilers. Doctor Who Series 1,2,3,4,+ The Next Doctor, and The Sarah Jane Adventures Series 1 are not spoilers, though remember to based discussion off Torchwood.

Torchwood: Children Of Earth, The Sarah Jane Adventures Series 2+3, and Doctor Who 2009 Specials (Planet Of The Dead onwards) require spoiler space. Children Of Earth will be released for non-spoiler discussion on September 1 based on current plans.
