Doctor Who is the BBC's longest lasting Sci-Fi Drama. Revived in 2005, the new incarnation will continue through at least 2010. Upcoming on BBC One and BBC HD:

Doctor Who has spawned two spinoff series - "Torchwood", an adult drama about a military group investigating alien activies, and "The Sarah Jane Adventures", the continuing story of 70s companion Sarah Jane Smith. "Torchwood" series 3 will air on BBC One and BBC HD in Spring/Summer 2009 - 5 episodes stripped across one week. "The Sarah Jane Adventures" will air Series 3 (12 episodes) later in 2009 on BBC One and CBBC.

"K9" is in production by another company featuring former Doctor Who companion K9, expected to premiere on Network Ten in Australia in 2009.
