Hi,<br><br>I just started watching re-runs of
WAMB a few weeks ago. I don't know too much about the
show or the characters, except that Hub is a cutie.
I'm kind of confused about the plot. What happened to
the older grandma lady? If I'm just an idiot and I've
missed something obvious sorry, either way I'd like to
find out a little more. It doesn't look like you guys
have been around in awhile but I hope to get to meet

start watching Wind at my Back?<br>Some stuff you
should know if you don't already is in the very first
episode. Jack Bailey(Honey's husband,Hub,Fat and Violet's
father) passes away after reacting to a hornet
sting.Jack,Honey and the rest were moving to New Bedford where
Jack's mother, May Bailey, lives because their Hardware
store had gone bankrupt.When they arrive in New Bedford
Jack gets into an arguement with May takes Honey and
the kids to the Bailey's cottage out at Bass
Lake.While they are cleaning up at the cottage Jack and Hub
decide to go fishing when they find an old canoe that
Jack and his brother Bob Bailey used to fish in.While
they were taking it down from a rack in the shed, a
hornet's nest falls out and Jack is stung.Hub hurries to
tell his mom and they rush Jack to New Bedford. Jack
died on they way there in Hub's arms.<br>After the
funeral May blames Honey for Jack's death.When Honey and
Jack had married, May was against Honey because Honey
was Catholic.May uses Jack's death to find something
wrong with Honey and to make Honey feel guilty.May
right after the funeral takes the children away from
Honey,saying Honey is an unfit mother and would never be able
to take care of the kids as well as the wealthy
Baileys.May keeps Hub and Fat with her and Grace at the
Bailey mansion,she sends Violet to her cousin Hugh and
his wife to care for, secretly hoping that Hugh and
his wife can be Violet's parents. <br>If you want to
know more, don't hesitate to ask again,I think this
will help you figure out some story lines in the

Do you know when the fourth season will be airing on CBC? I've looked at CBC's
site for WAMB they say it's airing at 7:00pm Sundays. Have they started the 4th
Season or is CBC still airing re-runs?

mean to Honey!Why did May have to take her anger out
on Honey? Honey did the best she could to help Jack
and May takes her kids away!I agree,May was a queen

season when she refuses to arrange for Violet to visit
her mother and her brothers, and how she tried to
gain coustody of Hub, and Fat by going to

Okie noone has posted anything in over 2 months,
we have to do something about that. Okie this should

all of the books have b&w photo's I don't know why though.  anyways try a used
book store to find the rest...I luv used book stores<br><br>Mags

I have about 10 of the RTA books.I got some of
them from my cousin.I also got a boxed set from Cosco
in Winnipeg Manitoba a couple years ago.The books I
have have black and white photos in the center of the
book,do yours have color photos?<br><br>P.S<br>The
closest city I live near is Winnipeg:)

Goto a used book store I've found the RtA books for less than 2$ at them and
they have like the whole series.<br><br>P.S what city do you live

Yeah! I have #'s 1(Four Walls and a Roof,2(Nerves
of Steel) and 4(Something from Nothing).I really
like them.They're just like the TV episodes.I'm
missing #3(My Dog Pal)which I've wanted for a while,but I
heard they're out of print now:( boohoo.<br>I think you
can still get Something from Nothing at Chapters
maybe,I'm not sure.

Did you know there were books for the first season?? I just found it out when I
was looking for "Story Girl" and "The Golden Road"

I don't think so but I think it was her neighbor, Mrs. Grady looked different
when she looked out the window....

list of the issues I would like to see on the fourth
season.<br>1. Honey.I REALLY want to know what is going to
happen to her!<br>2. Hub & Alice.I kinda want Alice to
come back to New Bedford and change her attitude
toward Hub or have Hub find a new love interest.<br>3.I
