basically liked those epoisodes that alowed insights into

continuity stuff, i agree that al the screw ups happened
because the people making the series made a mistake, but
i think its fun to try and work out ways of fitting
these facts into th wotw universe without damging the
continuity (thereby proving that i definately have too much
time on my hands!) As to the request, i can get you

there as ssonn as possible (alas, my server is below

Thankyou for the offer; I noticed while checking
out your profile that you are in england; this mean
that youl have difficulty trding with americans, as
the videos are made by the same people, but are
completely different. Either way, eng>usa, or usa.eng,
you get something that sounds like a gerbil on
helium. (this i knw from presonal experience) You can get
actually go to a video store and change them, but they do
charge for this, and not all stores provide this
service. Its nothing to do with the lp sp or elp (elp
being another speed american vcrs have apparently)being
different, its actually the machines.<br>With this in mind,

hello ther! thankyou for your message, its most
appreciated. With regards to the continuity thing, throughoutt
he entire 1st series the home planet of the aliens
was called Mortax, so it wasnt just the Synths who
called it that. However, on another wotw posting board
type site, someone ( I forget who) came up with the
idea that maybe Mortax and Morthrai are two different
words for the smae thing (we have many such examples of
this in real life, for example, in many sci-fi books
the lanet earth is often refered to as Terra, this
being a latin word for earth i think. Perhaps the
aliens updated their planet name due to a laguage shift
over the generations that follwed the 1952 invasion,
which the resurected aliens werent up to speed with.
[its revealed that the aliens have a mating season
every 9 years, so there wouldnt be many generations
produced in this time, so that theory doesnt really
work])Another theory is that a language shift did occur, but
way before the 1953 invasion; the 2nd wave of aliens
decided to give up 'their traditions, their past, their
memories', etc, and become a new race; perhaps the new word
fort hier home planet is a result of htat. These are
just theories however, and if anyone else wants to
write in any theories they themselves have, r.e wotw,
feel free. I love dicussions.<br> BTW, dredd_1981,
what woiuld you like to see more of on this site? i
try to customize it to the requirements of the

suppose;-)<br>anyway, they showed season 2 inengland twice, 1996 and
1998, but the second time it was so edited it wasnt as
good as it could have been. They also missed outt he
trnsition episodes, so you jumped from the cblackwood
project being in the cottage to two membbers being dead
and eveyone living in a sewer.Not a good idea onn the
parts of the itv people, methinks. (this was itv
yorkshire, though.. in other regioons they might have done a
better job of it)<br> You are so lucky to have got those
tapes, i know how hard it is to find tapes, as i looked
everywhere and still no hope. However, i do have most the
eps on video, so i can console myself with that.<br>

Well, I have only seen series one, series two was
shown once I think in the UK, I caught like half an
episode once.<br><br>Series one is cool I actually
managed to buy via ebay some ex rental vids of the first
series recently so I have been watching them again,
forgot how violent and dark the series actually
was!<br><br>Favourite character has to be Ironhorse (Hey he was cute
okay) and then Blackwood. <br><br>Sure wish they would
play the series over again so I can get the missed
