You can actually call me Thurisaz. I was just wanking around with my
profile; I've got this whole "make everyone think you're a Mor-
Taxian" thing going on for fun and keeping with that I followed the
Mor-Tax belief of having no name. It was actually just something I
did because I was bored one day, but forgot about it and I would have
changed it before I posted had I remembered. I fixed it to 'The
Third', but I'm honestly not sure what it'll read this time.
Editing the show at TV Tome is my pleasure, but I just wish there was
more information to work with. Barely anyone submits anything. In the
total year-and-a-half I've had that job, I must have only gotten
about a dozen contributions - if that many. However, it's still good
to have the position as I'm free to add and edit anything because I
must submit data there then for my other favourites like Buffy the
Vampire Slayer or Angel and this way I don't have to channel any
corrections through anyone else. Lately, I've been adding or
correcting things here and there at least once a week.
And yes, nothing really happening. But then again, that's the fallout
for enjoying a obscure, short-lived show that was produced by a
studio who haven't circulated it much at all as they should since the
last episode aired about 15 years ago with a cast that has barely had
any work since (though, if cult shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer
or the X-Files are any indication, then they could have good careers
had the show went on perfectly for another 2 or 3 years - sans the
Mancuso defiling).
As for DVDs, Paramount are still frigid, I'm afraid. The closest
things are home-made DVDs selling on eBay here and there, and someone
in Buddy's forum knows someone who is slowly, but surely fixing up
the show on DVD (taking a while to clean up the audio and picture)
and may include some extras. Keep an ear out for that. But still,
hopefully Paramount will open up if enough support is shown. However,
given the lame amount of features they give some of their other DVD
releases, I think we'd be happy with just the show on DVD in general.
I do know that a small number of early first season episodes made it
to video, I assume back in that long-forgotten time in the 80's when
Paramount seemed to still be interested in the show (like
releasing "The Resurrecion" novel as a tie-in). But these videos are
out-of-print and therefore rare to find - though some copies sneek up
on eBay.
I honestly don't know any fan fiction sites because I don't really
read them for any series, but there are some I kept bookmarked during
my many Google searches in hopes of finding anything on the show in
general. You may have found some of these yourself. But again, I
don't read them so I can't say whether or not they're good, so I'll
let you be the judge:

And of course, there's always FanFiction.net
This probably helped no one, but I just wanted to at least help
any "fellow Travelers." Anyway, it's interesting to the see the
sudden burst of activity. Hopefully it can remain at a steady pace,
at least. I'd hate to think there wasn't a pulse for the show beating
anymore. I guess there's no such thing as death - just deep
hibernation.
