ust a few things our dear rcol_editor forgot to
tell u earlier and which I think might be helpful if
you haven't attended last week's chat:<br><br>The IRC
network we're using is Undernet. Don't forget that, in
order to succesfully connect to an Undernet server, you
have to connect to an european one (if you are from EU
of course, which I think we all are..).<br>The
channel name is #rayroom i think..but i'm not quite sure
anymore... It will probably be posted on this board again

by now, we decided not to use the chat function of
this Yahoo club anymore. From now on all Ray meetings

based on theme tunes of Ray's Request, Most Wanted
(various versions), X Ray Vision and Wanted.<br><br>As you
know we've got quite a number of audio samples on our
website, but unfortunatly not a single theme tune. So if
you got anything on (video)tape which might help us,

introduce myself: My name's nicolas, I'm belgian and I'm
21..<br>I saw something weird on mtv the other day, during
their "live weekend". On the labels, at the beginning
of each video, they were putting the name of the
place or show where the live performance was recorded.
Like "performed live on MTV Hot" or "performed live on
up for it". Weirdly though, every performance
recorded during Most Wanted was just labeled "Performed
live for MTV"... No indication of Most Wanted
whatsoever....<br>Okay, maybe i'm just a bit paranoid, but don't u get
the feeling that MTV tries to make people forget that
there was a kewl VJ on their channel named Ray
Cokes?<br>I bet some MTV guyz were really mad when they saw
that viewers voted Ray Cokes the best MTV Europe VJ

the most wanted-regulars, and I was very upset when
Ray left MTV<br><br>But now that he's back on the

the 'ordinary' editions (when has the show ever been
ordinary though?!) ... however, the one show that to me
stand out in particular was the one where Take That was
in ... Ray really did the best interview with those
lads I have ever seen (and believe me I've seen my
share of TT interviews) ... he's got this special skill
to ask exactly the right questions that are not like
all the other interviewers and that always made the
shows very different ... and extremely funny!<br><br> I
remember a ton of other great episodes but this posting
would go on forever if I had to list them all here ...
let me just say that in my opinion every show was
special and definitely different from anything we had
ever seen on telly before and probably anything we
ever will see ... all the rest of the shows nowadays
are just shadows of Ray's .....<br><br> Anyway,

world-wide!<br><br>I'll try to set up a couple of discussions during the
next few weeks. <br><br>Thinking about a first subject
I came up with this topic: "What are the moments in
Ray's showbizz career that you remember/enjoyed the
most?" <br><br>My most favourite moment is:<br><br>- The
best moment: I enjoyed the most ordinary editions a
lot, but there were also a couple of great moments
that stick out, including the 2 Most Wanted weekends
(48 hours of Ray Cokes overload - wicked mental
dope!) and the Private Parts on the very last show (Pat
double-crossing Will and Ray was a major climax and we shouldn't
forget Ray playing with The Cure either)<br><br>- The
craziest moment: Robbie Williams showing his bum for a
fiver. (I laughed my guts out!)<br><br>- The saddest
moment (except the obvious: 'Ray Cokes leaving the MTV
studios at the end of X-Ray'): There were a couple of sad
moments, but Ray had the charm of making us laugh even
though it was something sad that he was announcing.
(Remember the guy that went in a coma just after paying for
a painting in the auction)<br><br>- The worst
moment: X-Ray live from Hamburg. (I was truly offended by
