The politics on this show, which started coincidently
with the Bush administration, is really getting
annoying.

The latest example is on my taped episode in which, as
a sub-plot, a Rumanian girl applies for sanctuary in
the US to avoid an arranged marriage at age 12 in her
home country. I couldn't believe, Alan Shore, the
opposing US attorney, and the judge all agreeing what
a rotten country the US is. How this is a "shameful"
period in our history, how everyone hates us, etc.
Well, maybe to the Hollywood writers of this show, but
I bet not for most Americans. I think this whole
sub-plot was merely a device to give the writers a
chance to rant about Bush.
