Hey everyone. I just joined right now. This seems
like a good EE club to be in. I hope to get involved
later on, and keep it up! Oh and uh...isn't that
episode with Gary and Brigotti(spelling?) cool? (The one
with the Diamond thief) I loved it!
~*Gata*~
Hi!
I agree with you totally! I love the
character of Gary Hobson he's such a down-to-earth nice
guy!
I am a huge fan of Kyle Chandler's. Just watching
him play the role of Gary...He gets so deep into his
character that you can relate to him. Kyle is such a great
actor because he becomes his character. He becomes Gary
Hobson. Kyle gets so deep into his characters that you
can get really emotionally drawn to him. There are
very few actors and actresses out there who have such
a great gift. This is why I have become a huge fan
of Kyle and why I love Early Edition so much. I am
hooked on EE! I hope that we can all bring the show back
for a fifth season. I don't know what I'll do if the
show ends with its fourth. All of the fans are banding
together and hopefully we will bring our beloved Early
Edition back for a fifth season that such a great show
justly deserves! Let's keep fighting!
I have seen nearly every episode. I love the
character Gary Hobson as well. Seeing him run is like
watching the best action hero as his family is being
threatened or something. Except Arnold Scwartzeneggar(is
that how you spell it?) doesn't normally care about
the person, maybe a whole city of people, but one
person getting hit by a car? He kills more people than
he saves. Gary is the humane, pretty-normal,
gets-annoyed-like-everyone-else kinda guy. Definitely the best TV show on CBS or
any other channel.
I was disappointed when they
cut Chuck out of the show. He's the humor in the
show. The who-cares? side of humanity. But even
sometimes Chuck's heart takes over his selfishness.
Marissa is the perfect partner for Gary. Its like his
conscience, or his comforter. Urging him on. Showing him the
obvious. And also a blind person adds to the difficulty of
reading tomorrow's news.
I certainly wish Gary would
get hooked up with someone, but I can't see Gary
running around leavin his family behind. Now Marissa
gettin married would be something
else...

-Luke
P.S. By the way, in one of the latest episodes, Chuck
gets married to an ex-con, but don't worry, she was
pardoned by the President, lol.
If Gary used that car yes he could get around a
lot faster and not always have to borrow someone
else's vehicle when a major emergency comes up but then
he'd stop running and I love to watch Gary run on EE.
I just think he looks so good running...nice
glutts(as Amber pointed out to us on "The Ice Man Taketh").
I just love to watch him running to stop one
disaster after another from occurring...of course that car
would've really come in handy on "Run, Gary, Run!" when
the McGinty's van was grounded(so to speak) for
unpaid parking tickets. But then if he did have that car
we would've never had that episode because he
would've saved Marissa right away...
No, Early Edition has been canceled! Still can't
believe it! Anyways, you can type in Early Edition and
Kyle Chandler on the Yahoo clubs page, and then join
all the clubs for those two catagories. Alot of the
clubs are getting petitions together and forwarding
them to CBS and FoxFamily (reruns of EE are on every
night, 7 and 10 pm eastern) and we're trying to save the
show! Please join and get your name on these petitions!
Also, to answer your question, Gary did not keep the
car. He and Marissa took a ride in the car, (which
they didn't show) and he said he was going to call
someone in the morning and donate it to some charity!!!
He's such a nice guy!!!!! :O) I agree that he would be
able to save more people if he kept the car, but it's
more interesting to see him run all over Chicago than
if he just drove around! That's only my opinion
though.
Is Early Edition still on the air?
And on the
episode where he got that convertible from the guy who
got the New York paper. Did he keep the convertible?
It would help him save the lives faster I think he
should have kept it if he didn't!

~sara~
Gary is the most lifelike actor there is. He acts
normal like people really are. Not like Arnold
Scwartzeneggar or Michael J Fox or any other person. He is a
normal guy that people can like for himself.
Yeah, Gary is a pretty entertaining character. I
like the way he acts. He always seems annoyed or
something. It's quite appealing and refreshing to see a
character who's not perky and cheery all the time.
I don't think Gary actually sees things
happening, I think that the black and white scenes are for
the viewers, to put the story in perspective for us.
Also I have to comment that I think the show has many
comedic moments. I love Gary, but I especially love the
scenes with Gary and the cat, like when the cat jumps up
on the table when Gary is eating, and he grabs the
cat, tosses him on the floor, and then waves his arms
like he's trying to get rid of the cat hair! I also
love the noises that the cat makes!
Hola, soy fan de la serie EE, soy de mexico. si alguien entendie el español,
conteste, ya que mi ingles no es muy bueno.

saludos a todos los fans
del club
I don't think he's actually seeing it happen in
the future. I didn't get that impression. I think
he's imagining it happen while he's reading the
paper...so maybe it's kind of like a vision.

Anyway,
I watch the show on Fox Family Channel too!! Don't
you just love that show??? It's great...it doesn't
only reel me in with the interesting storyline, but it
also makes me laugh. The show is quite funny at
times!!

Catch ya later!!
Jedimindchick
Hi all I have a question!
When they show
what's happening in black and white is he seeing it
happening in the future?
I just started watching it on
Fox Family Channel!
Does n e 1 know?

~sara~
I sure hope those CBS folks realize that more
people want to watch Early Edition than any old cop
drama or something. Its the best show since Dr. Quinn,
Medicine Woman(and they canceled that, too!).
---Luke
Hi, I just got done reading my email and decided
I'd try to answer that question regarding EE being
just cancelled.
CBS has not been very good at
advertising EE in fact I think they did a poor job promoting
it even after its first season. You probably haven't
heard about the fourth season because there were only
about four ads in the TV Guide. USA Today advertised it
a few times but that was it. Not to mention that
half way through the fourth season EE disappeared for
about three months and resurfaced around the end of
March. CBS was poor with advertising its return as well.
There was no mention anywhere that the season began
again. I got lucky and saw it advertise on Fri. night at
the end of "Nash Bridges" if I hadn't of been taping
the show I would've missed the return.
Moving
along. CBS just finished airing the fourth season of
"Early Edition" the last week of May (2000). They
decided to cancel EE right around the last week of May.
Fans have been since rallying to get it either
returned to CBS or purchased and continued on another
station. We haven't received word yet as to whether or not
our efforts will be rewarded.
Fox Family bought
syndication rights and are presently showing the second
season from 7pm-8pm and the third season from 10pm-11pm.
I have a feeling that they will soon be airing the
fourth season repeats so you should be able to see them.
I hope you do get to watch that season they had a
lot of good episodes.
Well, I hope this helped
to answer your question. I must apologize for making
this message so long but I wanted to be thorough in
answering your question.
Hope to chat with you again
soon! Good bye for now!
Hi. I'm just announcing to the world that I love
Early Edition! Don't hate me, because I really only
started watching it since fox family started showing
reruns. Pardon my denseness for asking this, but since
I'm new, Early Edition JUST got cancelled? I thought
it was gone a long time ago. CBS didn't do a good
job promoting it, if it was still running this year.
I wish I had known it was on. I definitely would
have supported it, as a late-comer.
Hello, I just wanted to stop in and say hi to
everyone. My name is Stacy and I hope to hear from all of
you. I was very upset when CBS cancelled EE as well.
Even though the show has been cancelled (and with any
luck we can save it!)
I do hope that this club
will keep operating. I just now found out about it. I
wish I would've found it sooner. Any way I hope to
talk with everyone soon. Good bye for now!
I must say that I was angry when I heard that
Early Edition was canceled. I think that the show got a
bum rap when they took it off temporarily for that
nighttime game show, which didn't do well at all. I think
that alot of regular viewers of Early Edition were
lost as a result of it. Maybe some people just didn't
know that it was back on. Regardless, I really enjoyed
this year's season, and I loved the way that time
travel was woven into it. It was different, and I think
that's what made it more interesting. I don't know if we
can save the show, but it's certainly worth a try. I
have already e-mailed CBS and also have gotten some
friends to do the same. A friend of mine even wrote a 2
page letter to CBS telling them why she loves the show
so much. Sorry this post is so long, but I just
wanted to share some of my views on the show. Also, if
some of you don't know already, the Fox Family channel
is showing reruns of the show. It started this
Sunday, and they've been having a marathon of shows,
right from the first episode. If you haven't seen them
yet, tune in at 7 pm EST. Thanks for listening, and I
hope to hear from you all! Rose
Hey everyone! It's nice to meet some people who
love this show, because it it almost the greatest
thing ever. None of my friends watch it though, they're
all too busy with the X-files, so I never get to talk
much about Early Edition.
You guys really should
post more often, it would be lots of fun to talk.
Bigger clubs are really too confusing to have good
conversations. What did everyone think of this season? I loved
it SOOO much! Better than the last one, I thought.
Awesome! I love time travel ones. Sorta like Back
to the Future or that new movie, Frequency. Well, I
hope Gary finally settles down and gets married. The
writers have been dragging us along long
enough.
---Luke
I started a club called "Save Early Edition"
today. By joining, your email address will be added to a
petition that will be sent to Les Moonves of CBS. It is
part of the fight to save our beloved Early Edition.
To show your support, please join!
<a href=http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/saveearlyedition

address is not in your profile,
please e-mail it to me so that I can add it to the list.
Thank you.

*KAY*
rosbeef@...

p.s. no good outcomes guranteed, but it's certainly
worth a try!
Thanks for joining. Not many people do as you can
see. I found that there was only one EE Yahoo club so
I made my own. Since March Madness is finally over,
I finally get to see Early Edition. The next one
has something to do with him being blind for a while.
That should be interesting.
I just joined the club today. I am also a fan of
Early Edition...I love Kyle Chandler! I too have loved
the show from the very first episode and I haven't
missed any eps! I hope this club will grow since I know
there are many great fans for this fabulous show!
