Well as television schedules and programmes can sometimes be dumped I
can't say that 100% this will be shown, but Granada Television are
making a programme called Soap And Glory.

The Appreciation Society has give some help to the programme for a
tribute to Noele. They say they want to show how popular she was, and
how with her at the helm Crossroads often beat Coronation Street to
the top spot.

They also wanted to know the year she won most glam woman on TV -
which we believe was 1980, the year she also was voted best dressed
person on TV and had a range of clothes out in the shops under the
title of "the Noele Gordon Collection" (I wonder how many people still
have a Noele Gordon in their wardrobe?)

Anyway if I hear anymore about the show I'll let you know - its about
time ITV paid tribute to her seen as the BBC did in 1991.
