No it wasn't aimed at you, loyal and dearly
beloved member :) It was a demonstration of my no chance
in hell policy regarding lending stuff out.
:P
Helen aka Sharenn was threatening to cause havoc unless
I lent her some tapes.
This ep was pure class, the regulars were on top
form as the parasitic Brizon tried to get one over on
the ever-expanding Mantrid. It was weird to see Kai
suddenly revert back to factory setting after 2 years of
character growth.
All in all a good ep, one of the best
:)
>>sigh<< .... he said Kai....
>>drool drool<<

Just kidding =). I'd just
about kill people in my own family for a copy of that
tape....

Actually, I am in the process of purchasing it now, and
hoping to find a copy of Super Nova (or two) soon.
=)

You *ARE* taping these, right? >>threaten
threaten<<

=^..^=
As far as I'm aware vols 1.1 - 1.4 were
contracted to be 105 mins and so to honour the contract they
hasily made a 4 making of articels to put on the tapes
after the main features. These include a chat with the
three divine shadows, interviews with the cast and
guest stars and behind the scenes footage. 1.1 also
includes the original short pilot for Lexx!!! entitled
Tales from the Dark Zone.
A lot of the cast
interviews have been used in the Sci-fi making of
documentary and are just repeated here, but as far as I am
aware the three divine shadows part of it is unique to
these tapes.
It's odd but the characters are almost
total opposites of the actors.
eg. Kai is quiet and
subdued while Michael McManus is the original motormouth
:)
In the Sept.(#48) issue of "Cult Times",page
9
an ad for LEXX-The Entire First Series
Videos.
With Bonus "Making Of" material on each tape!!!
WHY
couldn't these be availiable in the U.S.???
Why can't
someone tape these for Alykatt & me??
I know someone
who can transfer them to U.S.
standard.
I'm going to CRY!! Why do I have to live in the US, a place that is so LEXX
DEPRIVED?????
WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
Grrrrrr, you'd better be taping
these.....

=)
Brigadoom was certainly unique and filled in the
back history of the Brunnan G. There is even a suprise
guest apperance by old cowl features.

Xenia's
singing is superb, she must have some Brunnan G is her
DNA!
Thanks for the info. Maybe I can find them on
eBay or bootleg them, if ONLY I knew someone who had
access to them.... giggle.
Anyway, I will let you
know if I find anything for you on them as well,
OK?
Dying to get my hands on them here!
Er maybe I should have mentioned that I'm
British.
We're very behind on Lexx over here. We've just had
episode 2.15 shown over this side of the puddle.
The
videos are being released by Contender videos over here
on their Kult label. A I have never heard of these
people before I think they are a new company.
I have
no knowledge about any releases outside our shores,
but you never know.
I have had 1.3 and 1.4 for a LONG time, and am
still searching for affordable copies of 1.1 and 1.2.
Does anyone have access to them? Here in the states
they are around $100 each, and that's a bit much, even
for me.
Where are 2.1 and 2.2 being released in
October?
1.3 (Eating Pattern) & 1.4 (Giga Shadow) were released to day :) I have bought
both of these.
Good news! 2.1 (Mantrid & Terminal) & 2.2 (Lyekka & Luvliner)
are released 4th October :) :)
Pretty cool episode :) Giggeratta's return was
well handled. Well she was incinerated in Supernova!
Mantrid's plan is becoming clear, lots of drone
arms.
Kai was underused, but after last week he probably
just needed a rest.
Twilight was great, Kai gone nuts weird, Xev a
zombie and Lyekka was hungry, she's got a big appetite
for small furry animals ;)
Stan was his usual self
and 792 made an apperance along with a load of former
His Shadow hosts.
Michael "Kai" McManus has spoken in Cult Time
that Lexx is a go for season three, yipee,
hooray...and similar. This time it will apparently be only 13
episodes, each telling part of one long story of how the
badly damaged Lexx lands on a planet in the darkzone
and the crew having various adventures on this
planet. It's gonna get weirder too folks :)
Hi Sharenn

Please send me invites for the
unlisted clubs.

I think that the Yahoo! Clubs are
a great tool to get in contact with as many
B5/Crusade fans as possible. I hope all of the fans can save
Crusade together.

Sincerely,
Anne
Kofod

aka. Elizabeth_Lochley
I'm a big B5 fan too, and I'm wodmering if you're
signed up for The Observation Deck Deluxe, The
Observation Deck Crusade or Epsilon Orbit.
All are Yahoo!
B5 clubs, 2 of which are unlisted.
If you're not
a member and would like to be, just post it in a
reply to this message and I'll send you an
invite!
Sharenn
Hi,

Cool.. a new Lexx club! I am a big
fan of Lexx besides shows such as Babylon 5, Crusade,
Star Trek, Earth: Final Conflict, Millennium & The
X-Files.

Sadly I have only seen the four tv movies
because I live in Denmark, Europe. One of our national
channels has bought Lexx, but if they are going to
broadcast the series it will be sometime in the year 2000.

Right now I'm hoping that one of the norwegian channels
will begin showing Lexx: The Series this
summer.

I can't wait to see how the story
continues!

Anne Kofod
aka. Elizabeth_Lochley
