The main reason I wanted them is for the guest stars, writer, and director
for the episodes from #33-110. I realize that would be a huge task, but if
you could send me a few at a time that would be great!

PAX sometimes mixed up the ending credits around and they are somewhat
difficult to read - plus I didn't get them all on tape.

Stephanie,

Thanks for checking for me. I remember watching it sometime between
1991-1993 on one of my local stations when it went into syndication.

I just switched the text and background colors to black on white for the
episode guide so you can probably print this one out:

If you can rent a VCR you can copy them that way-Several of our grocery
stores and video rental stores do rent them-also WalMart was selling Orion
VCRs for $69.95(in the PA area) that would be much cheaper than renting one.
Todd was looking for the epsiodes for his website-and there were a few that
I was looking for, but I was actually trying to find any old tapes I may
have had in order to send them to Todd and to Dan-but I never got a VCR
until 1990 or 1991(I had one briefly in 1987) but either way I evidently
didn't copy the Hogans when they were on back then.

I have the original episodes starting from the mid-1988 season (nbc) thru the
very end in 1990 (cbs). Unfortunately, there is no way I can copy them
because I only have ONE vcr and no access to a second one at this time. Is

Yeah, I thought it was nicely done, but I wish they
had the laugh track (don't know if that's part of what
you mean). I always think it's funnier when I hear
other laughter.

Anyone watch it? Valerie Harper and Christine Ebersole from 'Valerie' were
both in it. I thought it was pretty good, but I would rather have seen it

Todd,
I looked at all of my pre-1994 tapes and I sincerely doubt that I have any
Hogan Family episodes taped from a non Pax network. I honestly can't
remember if I ever saw the Hogan's in reruns after it went off the air in
1991.( until Pax aired them) Pax is all I have. I hope you've had luck with
someone else.

Also I tried printing out the episode guide to help me when I'm at home
looking for the episodes. But it would only print out blank sheets. Is
there any way to get the material on your web site to print for that
section?

No I never saw that episode unless I saw it when it originally aired-but I
can't remember off hand-no I didn't know that actor wrote that episode.

Todd-I may have some-but they would be from when they originally aired in
the late 80's and early 90's-it may take me a while to find them if I have
any at all-I'll let you know.

PAX did air the one where Rich has AIDS and eventually dies if that's the
one you are talking about very recently and I think it was also on during
their last run through the episodes. I think that was one of the best
episodes of the series. Did you know that the actor who played Rich (Tom
Hodges) actually wrote that episode?

Does anybody have any Hogan Family episodes from #33-110 from a non PAX-TV
station? The ones starting with Sandy Duncan. I'm looking for any that
were not taped from PAX-TV, any that were taped from original NBC or CBS
(the last season) airings or from your local stations when it was in
syndication. I taped them from PAX-TV just for my own personal collection,
but the reception for PAX-TV on our cable system is so bad these episodes
are barely watchable and I don't like how they did the closing credits.

I have the first 32 episodes when it was called "Valerie" from original NBC
airings without the commercials. These are uncut and have the original
openings and closing credits. I can trade these for any non PAX-TV
airings. I can also trade a lot of other shows for these, my tradelist is
at: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/tradelist.html

The reason I want non PAX-TV airings is because I want the original,
full-screen closing credits so I can add the information to the episode
guide on my page.

yes, I remember those lyrics, they are coming back to me, but I still cannot
remember the tune. By the way, what station plays the Hogan family right
now..None of my cable channels play it at all.

Thanks for your help! I couldn't make that one line out, I think a few of
your lines are a little off - but maybe I'm not hearing them
correctly. Here is what I came up with:

Life is such a sweet insanity.
The more you learn, the less you know.
In the heart of every family, there's a love that starts by letting go.

Step by step and day by day, reaching out along the way.
Hand in hand we face our fears, together through the years.

We've got closer, through happiness and tears
And in our hearts we share, the laughter and the sadness.
A special kind of madness, together through the years.

Life is such a sweet insanity, it's nice to know your friends are near.
In the heart of every family, there's a love that's waiting there for you.
Through the years...

Can anyone help with the theme song lyrics? I have been trying to

Thanks.

Hello Hogan Family fans,
I just wanted to let you know that I updated my site with a few new
pictures and some other things. I received an e-mail from Tom Hodges who
played 'Rich' on the series, he's doing fine - he's now a
writer/producer/director and has a bright future in front of him.
