In a story that I read the other day was that Tartakoff was so angry
about Harpers cast changing in the first and only season of "Valirie"
that he told staff people at NBC"I would replace her with anyone
even...Sandy Duncan!".NBC brought Sandy to LA to do a pilot
called "ACT II",but in truth the story said,Sandy was all ready
signed to replace Harper in Febuary of 1987.They waited untill the
show was renewed by Tartakoff in May of 1987.Sandy was paid $48,000 a
week to start the show in August of 1987.
