Hello Andy.

It's perfectly obvious that
Carlton want to break ties with the past so are killing
off the fans favourites. They've already messed up
established history. But they don't realise they *need* the
older fans, not alienate them. But in their arrogance,
they probably say to each other, "we don't need them.
We've got all those teens from "Home & Away". But then,
as we know, Jill wasn't Jill, Adam wasn't Adam and
Doris was an alien who knows about hair, make up and
clothes, which old Doris never did!

I saw that
letter. Actually I enjoyed the one after Jardine's death.
That twist at the end and good drama was what it's
been lacking since Taggart died. It kept the same but
then went more soapy. In previews and stuff, they said
they want to get the grittiness back. I will give that
a chance. It may fail, but audiences have been
falling over the years and it's only the loyal fans which
stay, like any programme.

I'll too count the
days till Crossroads is axed - as soon as we know when
that day is!

Patsy
