This is a reminder that Shaun's biography special is airing again tonight on the
BIOGRAPHY channel. 7/8pm eastern and about 11pm/12 midnight eastern.
Since "Ruby and the Rockits" (There no word yet on its future other than it will
not be returning to ABCFamily) was on after the show's original debut a year
ago, it is possible that there could be an update of it added to the special.

Another note: I didn't want to leave any Shaun fans out of this one, this time.
That certain owner/moderator I was referring to, was Cheryl C. of "For All
Cassidy Fans" http://cassidyfanclubca.topica.com (Many of you may know her, or
of her) She will be back from her trip about tomorrow.
The poll remains open, and while VERY close, "Ruby ..." is trailing behind.
Let's change the stats! Anyone can vote, even if you have never watched the show
before (It is not airing outside of the USA yet), and no registration is
required.
Thanks,
Lorna

Hi Marla,
I havent posted to this group before but have been a member for a while so I
guess I am a newbie like you. I too am waiting for season 3 and have found that
one episode was released on VHS in the 90's, Search For Atlantis. Once in a
great while it shows up on ebay. I purchased it and put it on DVD to watch.
Feel free to email me privatly if you would like me to help you find a copy.

Definitely be aware of anything sold on ebay. If it's very expensive, or sounds
"too good to be true," then it probably is. Unfortunately, countries such as
China, the Philippines, Indonesia, and many areas of Africa are heavy into
bootlegging, piracy, and scam operations. Check the country of sale origin
before proceeding further.
But that doesn't mean nobody in the USA is bootlegging and scamming.
Recently, this warning (see below) has been circulating on some Cassidy message
boards regarding one such person right here in the USA. We are not sure if this
guy is offering anything other than David Cassidy/Partridge Family items, but I
would be very wary of him.
Anyone who has fallen victim of his "business" should report him to the Miami
Beach, Florida Post Office, or your local postmaster. If enough complaints have
been filed, postal inspectors can make a case out of it and proceed further.
Same goes for anyone else. Feel that you have been ripped-off and/or victimized
by a scam? Report it!
As they say ... buyer beware ...

[J]Ust thought everyone should know there is a really nasty bootlegging/theft
scheme for David Cassidy material going on right now. Get a load of this jerk:
A friend of mine was reading/posting on an E! Online message board regarding
"Ruby & the Rockits." Somehow he was contacted by a guy named Michael Long in
Miami Beach, Florida, who claimed to have rare, unreleased Cassidy songs from
the Bell years via Wes Farrell's master tapes. He wanted $50.00 for a version of
"Walk Away Renee" that was supposedly recorded for the "Dreams Are Nuthin More
Than Wishes" LP, but discarded. (I wish he had asked me first because: (A) Wes
Farrell did not produce "Dreams" and (B) "Walk Away Renee" was recorded for the
"Touch Of Blue" CD a few years ago.) Unfortunately, my friend sent the $50.00
money order and was duped. He was sent a CD in the mail with the "Touch Of Blue"
version. When he emailed Michael Long, asking if the song was a fake, the
response was, "Yes it is. Buyer Beware. Ha Ha."
So, if anyone else gets an email or message from the email
address: weblizard@..., asking for you to send a money order for cash
to:
Michael Long
P.O. Box 402412
Miami Beach, FL 33139
For unreleased Partridge/Cassidy material, please forward me the emails and
headers. I will forward them to David, JoAnn Geffen, and anyone else that may be
able to put a stop to innocent music lovers from being duped.
I'm sure there's a way to find out who/where this person is by contacting the
Maimi Beach post office, as there are federal fraud charges in place for using
the US postal system, etc. But it's best to keep in mind that if it sounds too
good to be true, then it probably is.
The $50.00 isn't what's the most bothersome about this -- it's the fact that
there are people in this world that are so cold, cruel, calculating, dishonest,
psychotic, etc. To do this to another person. What a jerk.
Also related, is the eBay user "scratchofgrace" (Mark Ambuter) who has been
bootlegging Partridge/Cassidy material for some time. But I am pretty sure JoAnn
Geffen is already onto this guy.

Hi Marla,
Season 3 has not been released yet. RETRO/RTN has not showed the repeats of that
this year. They keep running Season 1 and 2 episodes. :(
Once in awhile you might see tapes of that floating around ebay. Keep looking
there.
For any Shaun fans that missed him and David's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"
last month, it will be repeated on Wednesday, August 19 on ABC after
"Nightline."

Parker reunited with Pamela Sue Martin for a movie last year called "McTaggart's
Fortune. According to IMDB, it is in a post-production status. More at the link
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1197625/
Parker can also be seen interviewed about Shaun in Shaun Cassidy's "Biography"
special. Future airings on The Biography Channel and A&E (overnight on weekends)
are likely. Keep an eye out for it.

David Cassidy was on top of the Partridge Family bus, and his brothers, Shaun
and Patrick came out as a security detail that had to "rescue" David from all of
his screaming fans (that weren't there!) Funny!

My apologies for neglecting this group as I (and others) was sending out the
"Ruby and the Rockits" announcements. The thing with this group is that "OT" is
recommended for labeling off-Hardy-Boys topic posts and everything I have been
sending out in the last few weeks have been "mass messages."
Also, I know there are Parker fans in this group that might not care so much
about all the Cassidy news and that there are even members here that would
prefer to be on-topic in discussion. I was just trying to be mindful of things
being a bit different here than they are in the other Cassidy groups.
For the record on "Ruby and the Rockits": Shaun is one of the show's executive
producers. Patrick and David star in it. Ryan is the lead set designer for the
show.
So far, Shaun, Patrick and David have guested on Good Morning America (7/20),
featured on Entertainment Tonight (I don't know about the other entertainment

A little note about something on-topic: During "Entertainment Tonight's" 7/21
feature on the "Ruby," they showed the "Hardy Boys" Season 1 DVD cover. I am
really hoping that all the "Ruby" attention will boost DVD sales enough to
remind Universal to release Season 3. ;-)

I haven't heard anyone mention the new Cassidy show that is on ABC Family now
called Ruby & the Rockits. It stars David Cassidy & Patrick Cassidy as a pair of
'80's has-beens who had a falling out years ago, but one of them finds out he
has a daughter. Shaun Cassidy is the executive producer. Ryan Cassidy also has
something to do with it. A real family affair for them! I saw them talking about
