Hiya...
I found a cool fanzine titled "The U.N.C.L.E. Inner Circle "Top
Secret" Journal" that appears to have been published in 1968 because
it talks about being the last issue. It measures 8-1/2" X 6" with a
blue paper cover featuring a stylized drawing of some of the cast in
action. It has a LOT of B&W photos in it, lots of pics of the women
who were on the show (set up as a quiz), and a synopsis of "The Seven
Wonders of the World Affair" which air dates of January 8 and 15,
1968. I guess this is the final episode? It also features a cast
list and synopsis of "Sol Madrid," apparently a movie David McCallum
made for MGM in 1968 or so (based on the novel, "Fruit of the Poppy"
by Robert Wilder. The booklet, which is a stapled pamphlet consisting
of 24 pages, plus the cover, is in "very good plus" condition, with
some small spots of what looks like coffee on the lower left corner of
the front cover (doesn't mar the illustration). It is tight and lays
flat. There is a special farewell note from Solo and Illya with
(allegedly) their signatures (printed with the booklet, of course).
There is no publication date but it appears the booklet was created
and published by Mark Witsett of Beverly Hills, California.
ESPECIALLY COOL is an U.N.C.L.E. Agent pin made of metal with a
fold-over "clip" which is attached to the top of one of the pages. It
is black with gold, featuring an upside-down triangle with a black
sun-like design in the center of the triangle and an outline of a male
figure to the right of the "sun." It's about an inch big and is in
"very good plus" condition with little wear, although there's a slight
bit of rust which has transferred to the page.
If anyone is interested in purchasing this booklet and pin from me
(sold as a set only), please contact me directly at

I'm posting this message on Sunday, 3/27/05 and am also listing it
with our other book inventory on ABEBooks.com under our company name

Thanks...
