I believe Easy's birthday show was yesterday. I watched it, and he has got to
be the funniest character on the Electric Company! My sides still
hurt!<br><br>Peace
i got an e-mail and it asked if i was still
looking for the "i hate to wash" song and was still
looking for it. if you have a copy in real audio or mp3
please send it to huskersrule@... thanks.
I must admit, one of my favorite parts of this
show is [A Very Short Book]the stories are
popular<br>but put in the shortest book in history.I love the
short books.I liked[Hansel&Gretel,Cinderella.<br>Humpty
Dumpty],those 3 were my favorites.I loved that segment so much!
I love Morgan Freeman,he is one of the greatest
actors in history.I think that going from Electric
Company, which was a wonderful show,to all the movies he did,man
that man has talent,he can play any character,he
played a principal[Joe Clark]in Lean on me,and then he
goes on to Shawshank Redemption, and Driving Miss Daisy
as a chauffer,he does well, look at the Electric
Company<br>he played all kinds of characters,[Easy Reader,Count
Dracula],he was a cop and the narrator of stories,he rules
the Movie and TV Lands!
I believe he has more awards, though. Check this

LOL,great end to my memo eigh?
I have always loved Rita Moreno since I first saw
her on The Electric Company ??? years ago. So, my
favorite actress is Rita, and my favorite character is
Millie. My second favorite is the loopy chick who went by
Winnie. I don't know her real name. And my second
favorite character is Easy Reader. Check this guy out. He
is like a junkie that is hooked on phonics. He has
some of the funniest skits on the show. Watch out for
the pie throwing maniac (I forgot his real name)! I
saw that yesterday. I had cramps in my stomach from
laughing so hard! Well, I gotta go see a boy about a
chair.<br><br>Peace
Hello members, thank you all for joining.I am the
biggest female fan of this show.I started to watch it on
Noggin,well whenever I remember it's on,it's on 12:30 a.m on
Noggin,and I try to watch it if I can,being an adult,who
grew up with that show on the air.I can watch the
reruns and live my childhood all over again.I watch for
entertainment,it is one of the few shows that I can actually get a
laugh and see cartoons, and people acting out roles
without getting disgusted,<br>thank God for Noggin, people
who are old enough to stay up that late will
agree, that Electric Company Rules!I still watch it when I
can! I am not ashamed of it either!Feel free to add
comments, you can be kid or grown up,as long as you like
Electric Company! That is all that matters here! This show
rocks!!!!
Hi I am new to this club, I am a really big fan
of the Electric Company, and have saved several pics
for my computer wallpaper, and also downloaded silent
e and the theme song. <br>my fave is Fargo north, I
would like to know what ever became of the fellow who
played him, SKIP.<br><br><br>Angela
I really don't mean to nitpick, but they aren't
good enough to print, when I tried, the result was
that he couldn't be seen clearly. You might try
getting really close to the tv. I need some good clear
pictures of him that I can add to the collage I have
hanging on my wall.
What was Irene Cara's character name? Also, I am looking for pictures of Skip
Hinnant as Fargo North, Decoder. If anyone can help me out, I'd sure appreciate
it.
Hello.I thank the the people in my club for being faithful members, and thank you
to the one who poined out my errors on labeling the pics, thank you one and
all,you are so kind, enjoy the club.
Hi! I don't know what happened to the other club,
but I took some pics (with the crummy little digital
camera my dad didn't want) of the Electric Company on
Noggin. <br><br>I'm sorry for the poor quality of the
pictures, but hope enough is visible to jog memories for
those who don't get Noggin from their cable companies
yet.<br><br>The first is from a skit where Rita Moreno plays a
burglary instructor, teaching her black-clad students
(Skip Hinnant, Luis Avalos, Morgan Freeman, Lee
Chamberlain, Judy Graubart) how to stalk, walk (slowly) and
talk (their way out of any situation. <br><br>The
second pic is the title screen for Jennifer of the
Jungle, her face bisected by a big thin-lipped smile.
<br><br>The third is from a funny song where Skip Hinnant,
clad in quasi-Austrian costume, explains that his
mother taught him to whistle when he's afraid. Dracula
(Morgan Freeman) appears from behind a gravestone and
chases him around the set. At one point Morgan mugs to
the camera - I still remember laughing at his
expression over 2 decades ago!
Hi, Princess<br><br>Just wanted to let you know
about a couple of mis-labels on your pictures. The
first one, which you have labeled "J. Arthur Crank," is
actually Skip Hinnant, with Fargo North, Decoder in the
background.<br><br>Also, "Jane of the jungle" was actually "Jennifer of
the Jungle"
Hi PrincessAdora and everyone.<br><br>To answer
the questions...<br><br>1. Depending on how you look
at this question, the show itself was meant to help
kids with reading skills through the use of
television, and since television needs electricity I would
say that would be true to some extent.<br><br>2.
True, Morgan Freeman played Easy Reader.<br><br>3.
False! By the way, her last name is Kahn. No offense
intended!<br><br>4. True, but it was Jennifer of the Jungle, not
Jane, although Tarzan's mate Jane is mentioned in the
song "Jennifer of the Jungle."<br><br>5.
False!<br><br>6. True! It was yelled brilliantly by Rita Moreno at
the start of the second season's theme, as well as
the theme of the last two seasons.<br><br><br>Well,
those are my answers. How did I do?<br><br><br>Take
care.<br>Mike
I love TEC when I was a kid back in the 1970's. I
used to always watch it when I came home from school.
This new sattellite cable channel called "Noggin!"
broadcasts it. Although I don't get Noggin, I could use some
help in remembering some of the contents of the show.
Hello all.I hope you are ready for some fun,get
the answers right, you get to be a co-founder,good
luck<br>[True or False]<br>1.Electric Company has something to
do with electricity[TorF]<br>2.Morgan Freeman played
Easy Reader[TorF]<br>3.Madeline Cohn played in
Electric Company[TorF]<br>4.Jane Of The Jungle had a
gorilla named"Paul"[TorF]<br>5.Spiderman was a
criminal[TorF]<br>6.In the show,someone yells"hey you
guys!"[TorF]<br><br>Remember,if you get[all] of them right,you become a
