As you can tell I was extremely pissed off with Youtube for not including my description or any of the tags on this video, but what the hell. It's my website and I'll cuss if I want to. BTW as I mention on my description I am interested in voice artists so would love to hear from you if you have any talents in that direction.Android Promo
Altered Vistas has reached its twentieth animated release (and including extras
thatfs over fifteen hours of solid viewing, plus two extra hours of music),
and, to mark the occasion, we have revisited our very first production, Genesis
of Evil, (the first of the Dalek Chronicles as originally printed in the 1960s)
and created a brand new, fully animated version.
The soundtrack has been extensively overhauled and extended, with new
performances, new sound effects, enhanced and extended music and a completely
new mix that makes the best of our increased experience.
The original sets have been thoroughly retextured and relit, and sometimes
completely rebuilt, to get the best out of our new rendering software.
All of the characters have been remodelled from scratch in Cinema 4D to take
advantage of advances in 3D character design.
All of the dialogue has been lip-synced.
Even the Daleks have been rebuilt to look their very best.
Included on the disc alongside this new version are a wealth of extras:
Ifm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek. How could we get rid of this
little slice of 1960s pop hell? Complete with our original video!
The Story of TV Century 21. A documentary looking at the lavish childrenfs
comic where the Dalek were published for 104 issues.
The Chronicle Years. A second documentary placing the comic strips in
cultural and historical context - or a feast of nostalgia for anyone old enough
to remember the 1960s. A trip back in time for everyone else.
All this for the price of a blank CD and return postage and packaging!

A short advert for Peter Labrow's excellent website. Special big
thanks to David Nagel for the sound design and Lee Adams for the
voices. Dalek Links Ad.
Another web-based fancomic, for those who like pencils as opposed to pixels (that is so lame I can't believe I just typed it!) anyway for those who haven't come across it yet here is Rich Morris' epic comic strip- The Ten Doctors
Hello again, after what seems like an eternity fiddling around on Poser 6 and 7 I have finally finished my latest animation. This is another bash at reconstructing Evil and also a chance to show off my lipsynching talents. Please let me know what you think. The Evil of the Daleks Reconstruction
Altered Vistas are very proud to announce the release of AV18, the thirteenth instalment of their CGI animated Dalek Chronicles - Legacy of Yesteryear.
The disc comes crammed with four bonus features, including a look at the flora and fauna of Skaro, and a visit to the Cardiff exhibition last year.
Naturally, the site has had a major overhaul at the same time, and you can check it out here: www.alteredvistas.co.uk
Hello everyone, I'm a new member called stalinvlad, you may have seen
that handle on UT or HL2DM
I would ask a question but I have yet to try all the links so to avoid
such noob experiences I will refrain!
So I was in Forbidden Planet today wondering if they had a copy of the
latest DWM as my newsagent has unexpectedly not got hold of it...
..when I spotted a 'genuine 60s Dalek' behind glass and given pride of place
(under the stairs).
I took plenty of detailed photos and shared them with a Dalek expert and he
told me that none of the parts are genuine!
You can see them at http://www.geocities.com/spindle_legs/imag0003.jpg (and
up to 9 if you want to go through them)
"The skirt isn't 60s construction. The shoulders don't even have ball and
sockets for the gun/arms, the neck has 70s style neck rods but its too badly
cut even for the Planet of the Daleks ones. The dome, well anyone's guess
really but the pivot, eye and lights are wrong."
So how can you tell? Well here's a couple of websites that go into great
detail (there's a lot less genuine Dalek props than you'd think. Some parts
were re-used time and time again, often switched around, resprayed and..
well, who knows where each part is now?

and

are hugely informative. Enjoy!

Sir Bernard Cribbins? http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Cribbins/
Just to say a big hello to all new members who've come aboard in
recent days. Let's hope we're more amicable than the fictional
monsters the group is all about.
One of you I believe has access to an incomplete copy of this
wonderful book and would like to see what the missing pages have on
them. Excellent, of course, if you are of the scanning and posting
disposition you might want to send us some nice hi-quality scans of
the actual pages. When this group was set up the amount of file space
allowed was fairly minimal compared to what it has become in recent
times, consequently all our files are a little small and sometimes
pretty hard to read. These old scans are wearing a bit thin, one might
say. So any help you can give us would be truly appreciated, (by me at
least!)
Anybody who would like to see my modest little adaption of the first
few pages of the Dalek Book can follow this link to YOutube:

As anybody experienced problems posting to this site? I would really
lik e to hear from you if you have; I am the group's owner and none of
my posts seem to be getting through lately.
I don't usually come in through the front door, i usually pick up
everything with Outlook, so i didn't know the front page had changed!
Spanking CGI Daleks - nice :)
We've been busy over at Altered Vistas and have two new releases for
you all.
These are AV16 - the long awaited double-disc release of Curse of the
Daleks, the 1965 stage show, now brought to life with a full cast and
CGI throughout.
PLUS
AV17 - a living picture book of the 1966 World Distributor book
Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space, read in astonishing style by
Jonathan Redwood (and his First Doctor has to be heard to be
believed) and illustrated with CGI stills and occasional animations.
There have also been a number of updates to the site
(www.alteredvistas.co.uk) to celebrate the new releases, including
many new reviews, the next exciting instalment of Iain McClumpha's
Dalek strip Invasion of the Mechanoids, new wallpapers, many
additions to our features on both the Daleks and the Cybermen in the
Comics, plus new clips in the Theatre and even some news on our
Future Productions page.
We have dubsites in the UK, US, Canada and Australia, and copies of
the productions will cost you only return p&p and blank CDs.
For thos of you who might not be aware there are several yahoo groups
which have scanned copies of the Dalek Chronicles and the other
sixties Dalek Books.
You can find them all in the Links section (navigate on the left).
For those waiting for the concluding episodes of Fire and Brimstone,
fear not, I shall post them tonight!
Many thanks to Tired Old Lion, Wonga Spillage, Android 65 Mar, Spindle
Legs and George O. Wain for their work in scanning and uploading the
Dalek Book for others to enjoy.
I used to have some of the others when I was knee high to a
grasshopper (just a few weeks ago, . . .and yes some girls like Dr Who
too), and now I have been able to see this one as well. I particularly
like the artwork and inventiveness, both of which seem rarer these days.
