I haven't checked this thing in YEARS! I was just editing my old
yahoo profile, which still had my twin peaks page on it, so I clicked
the link, and lo and behold, it still worked. That led me to The
Conference Room! I still have fond memories too . . .and it's been a
long time since I've heard "Leelu and Camelrenter!" Good to hear
from you! :)

Wow....teach me to be away for a few years. Where did everybody go?
Leelu, hows LA? Did you know we joined the same day? Amy hows school?
Nearly a year since the last post by anyone, and much-much longer
since my last one, but I still have very fond memories of the "old
days" here.
There is a lot of info in the archives here if anyone needs to search
stuff. And since we started back in 1999, MUCH more TP stuff
available on line now, and even all the episodes for FREE! How cool
is that?
It's been a while since I have been able to attend to any TP
business. But I have returned to working on the TP&SN Railway and am
planning several changes and updates to the trackplan and where
things are located. And the new research rindings really helped. Have
assembled Ronettes bridge with her on it and took some shots for the
15 month TP calendar being done. Did not like the results I had by
the July 1 2008 deadline.
Any one coming out here for the 2008 TP Fest?
Grease for Peace or at least every 3000 miles! daCamelrenter

Hey guys! I'm a huge fan of Twin Peaks, as I'm sure most of you here
are too! I was wondering if there are any Twin Peaks fans here from
NYC! It would be cool to have a friend that's a Twin Peaks fan! Take

It's an excellent, free informational site. It's got a number of very
good articles on Twin Peaks, including a couple of recent ones that
should have everybody buzzing. They do a pretty good job of explaining
what has been going on with the dvd releases.
I sincerely hope this makes everybody's day brighter.

Hi guys! I'd like to invite all Twin Peaks fans who live in or near
New York to join The New York Twin Peaks Meetup Group! I just created
this group last week, but I hope to keep it around for a long time!
This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Twin Peaks fans and make
some new friends who share your passion for this amazing series! We'll
be meeting up once a month to discuss all things Twin Peaks! It should
be lots of fun! Also, there's a Message Board where we can keep the
Twin Peaks discussions going in between meetups! Here is the link to
the group:

I hope to see you there! Take care...Joey
Hey Tom! Thanx for replying! I just noticed that it says that TP started airing
in 1980...lol. This has got to be a bootleg! Take care...Joey

I have searched the web and I can not find information on Twin Peaks
games. I know that there is a boardgame (English) and a card game
(Japanese). Maybe there are more than just those two? Has anyone
played either of these games? Do you know of any others?
Thanks!

Twin Peaks Season 2 DVD Delayed to Spring 2006
Today I have been given official word from Paramount
that they will be pushing back the DVD release of Twin
Peaks Season 2 on DVD to Spring 2006. The reason for
the delay is to work with David Lynch to oversee the
transfer of new masters. While it is another delay in
such a long wait, at least it will be done right,
which is by far the most important thing.
The following is from DavidLynch.com about the
possibility of future Cooper movies:

Hi,
We've got enough interest to pick up the game again at TwinPeaksRPG.
If you fancy joining in, just go to the group, add your name to the
character you want to play in the SECOND castlist in databases and
start posting. Theres plenty of characters left for grabs but if the
one you want is taken, just post asking if you can take it.

Okay, it's been a long time since I checked this list. Truth be
known, I've been over on the "Help Save Carnivale" group list
(http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/HelpSaveCarnivale/?
yguid=224050970). I've also become addicted to "Firefly" in reruns
on SciFi. These are proof there still is great TV out there and TV
execs - broadcast and cable alike - are still a) not allowing the
creator's vision to be realized and/or b) cancelling them in their
prime.
But I digress.
It looks like there are new-ish converts to Twin Peaks over here.
Welcome! Grab a cup of joe, a slice of cherry pie ("Best in the Tri-
counties!"), and find a seat. There is much to see, much to learn,
much to discuss.
I've been a gigantic TP fan since it was on air and, when a roommate
bought the original VHS box set, I watched it all several times
over. I went to see "Fire Walk with Me" with a notepad and a pen!
I've deconstructed, reconstructed, and changed my mind about it all
so many times, it takes a once yearly reviewing of it all to help me
be less confused. (Notice I didn't say "make sense of it all."
*smile*)
Most of the questions have already been covered on this group, I'm
sure, but feel free to ask again....some of us won't taunt you for
it. If you're including a spoiler, don't forget to note *spoiler*
in your subject line. I can't promise any faster a response than
anyone else here, but I will try to pay attention in the next few
weeks. *smile*

i just joined the conference room and wanted to say hello. last night i watched
the first
couple episodes again, so that i could have it fresh in my mind. i was too
young to watch TP
when it first came out, my mom thought it was over my head. but since my
boyfriend got me
the box set a few years ago, i have been absolutly hooked. i even wear half a
heart necklace
(the side that laura wore). my favorite character is cooper, of course, and my
boyfriend
keeps a map of tibet hanging in the living room. i grew up out west, so i
understand the
something in these old woods that is otherwise known as the black lodge. i'm
glad to know
i'm not the only one obsessed. until next time, wini
Well, I hope the telemovie works out. Would a network
air it in this day and age, though? I don't know.
Maybe it could be for HBO. Kyle could use another
shot of Lynch in his career.

Also, here's the specific tidbit I heard about Lynch talking to Kyle:

I think I read on some semi-official website that the
Season 2 DVD is supposed to be out in the US this
October. That was several months ago, though, so it
may have changed.

I guess there won't ever be a Twin Peaks "reunion special," will there? :)
