I have been trying to find this commercial for years. It's one of the "I Love What You Do To Me, Toyota" commercials from the 80's. It is a lone car, driving across a long bridge (Lake Ponchatrain? ). I think Kim Carnes is singing the jingle. Any help would be appreciated.

Check Out This Fun Video We Shot For The Doritos Crash The Super Bowl Contest.
We Had A Blast Shooting This One. It Was About 5 Weeks Of Planning, Auditions Of
50 Women, 130 Rolls Of Paper Towels, And An All Nighter At A Grocery Store.
Enjoy And Let Me Know What You Think.

http://www.crashthesuperbowl.com/#/video/2403

Once it starts, don't blink, you may miss something. Hit "Skip Intro" in the
lower right corner to get to the video quickly.

I'd love to get your opinion on this commercial. I'm looking for honest, brutal
feedback. If the commercial is good enough, it will be chose as one of the three
Doritos commercials to air during the SuperBowl. Do you think it is Superbowl
worthy?

I dunno about you guys but I often have visceral reactions to commercials. Most
of the time these reactions are of hatred (e.g., the Mac vs. PC ads), but
sometimes I see one and every time it makes me smile. The most recent ad that's
done that for me is the "Candle" ad for the new PS3, which you can check out
here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2ofMBZnHBE

That guy cracks me the heck up. :)

So which ads do you all have visceral reactions to?

there is this recent commercial aired sometime last week, involving a woman who
was in silhouette but then lightens up in a black background singing. I don't
remember the name of the product being advertised because right when I was going
to know the name, my bro changed the channel.

I also remember the quick jingle at the end of the commercials- "National Brands
Outlet, NBO".
Then there were the SYMS stores commercials, done by Mr. Sy Syms himself.
But no one has National Brands Outlet commercials on Youtube at all. I'm
disappointed.

I'm trying to remember the name of a mens clothing store (possibly in NYC) that advertised in the 80s (or maybe the 70) as having everything EXCEPT SHOES. There's another commercial I'm looking for online. This time it's one of the
original commercials done by Ricardo Montalban for the Chrysler Cordoba. That
had to be 1975, if memory serves, because I believe that's the model year that
Chrysler introduced the Cordoba. I distinctly remember the words "Cordoba, the
new SMALL Chrysler" from that commercial.
I found a 1975 Cordoba commercial on Youtube, but it's not the same one. In fact
it's one I don't remember ever seeing. So if anyone can find this one, I'd be
most appreciative. Maybe you remember it on TV yourself also. If you are old
enough you might.
Thanks,
Barry

There was this commercial where there's a gangster, and he told this guy to meet
him at some location wherever, and when he gets there, he says to the guy "I
thought I told you to come alone. Who are those guys?" The guy says "That's my

I know which one you are talking about, but unfortunately don't know where to
find it online.

You might try other search terms in place of "gangster," such as "mob," "mafia,"
etc. Also try "come alone," and "docks."

Sorry I couldn't be more help. :/

Well maybe this isn't what you had in mind, but I like to see just about any
Geico or Progressive Insurance commercial or any Aflac commercial. I also like
the National Car Rental commercial with John McEnroe. I also like the Verizon
Dead Zones commercials, and the Nextel commercial that asks "What if loggers ran

I think it's a reference to one of the famous rides at the Expo, a spinning one
that tends to make people lose their lunch, so to speak. you may as well just
have the proprietor chuck your lunch for you since you're going to do it
anyway...

Then again, I could be totally wrong :-)
