RE: [The Commercials We Love] Post Sugar Crisp Sugar Bear

I’m still looking for the Yellow Pages series of commercials from the late 80’s or early 90’s

They included such greats as furniture stripping, fishing tackle, civil engineers, etc...

The commercials took the categories and translated them literally then zoomed into a close-up of the corresponding yellow pages ad.

Such as showing someone fly fishing, the line comes up on land and a football line backer tackles it (fishing tackle).

Or a sofa loosing its upholstery as music plays in the background, at one point the tassels on the arms of the sofa twirling around before flying off.(furniture stripping)

And a group of train engineers being very polite to each other (civil engineers)

Thanks

Steve

Hi,
My sister and I grew up in the 60's and 70's and we found a few
youtube videos of old Sugar Crisp commercials and we were peeing
in our pants from laughing so hard. it brought back such childhood
memories. We kept palying the video clips over and over and
analyzing Sugar Bear. He was so funny the way he talks, sings the
Sugar Crisp Jingle, and his funny little strut. Please visit my
website I made dedicated to Sugar Crisp/Sugar Bear. He really should
have a cult following.
Here's the link:

There's a link there to my yahoo group where you can find the youtube
clips on the main page description.
