I know not all of you celebrate Thanksgiving, but you can find something
to be thankful for even if it just the sun came out.

Some of the things I'm Thankful for.

I am thankful for finally finding a doctor who found the Cancer and helped
me make a really important decision.

I am thankful I was holding my mom when she passed she was not alone.

I am thankful for the friends I have made through the internet some helped
to find the silver linings.

I am thankful to be able to get up each day and having the chance to mess
it up before it is done.

I am thankful for all of you who put up with my bad spelling, and for spell
check when I think to use it :)

Everyone have a good day and Happy Thanksgiving to you all and many more.

Blessing

Warren has posted the details on Peter's website, so it should be easy for
anyone who wants a calendar to order it. If you do have any problems, try
contacting the calendar compiler directly. He is always willing to help anyone
who needs assistance with their order.

Dear Charles and family,

I hope you have a very wonderful Thanksgiving. Nothing is more special than
family and friends especially at the holidays.

I hope the move goes smoothly for you and your wife and mother-in-law.

My dear father-in-law had Alzheimer's. It is a very sad illness. I am sure it
is hard on Diane with Peter's condition. We all had to love that "Nick."

I am sorry you plans for the school didn't work out. They are missing a great
opportunity.

Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless,
Becky

Mr. Briles- Bon Courage on the move. I wish all the best and hate moving
(the packing and unpacking.) Please make sure you and your wife take care
of each other while you are caring for your mother-in-law. You cannot do
her any good if you do not take care of yourself.

I worked with the "geriatric" population for a long-time before I became a
SAHM. And dementia is a cripling, hostile, and very sad (not even strong
enough word) for those who live with it and their families. I would not
wish this upon anyone. My thoughts and prayers are for Mr. breck and most
especially Ms. Breck.

Dear Valley Dwellers:

It is my hope that this E-Mail finds you happy and well, and in the mood to
celebrate Thanksgiving with your families. Im sorry this has taken so long.
I promised you information concerning Peter's health. I've reach the
conclusion that this information would be more properly received from Diane,
. . . on her terms.

Many years before Carey Long passed away we would always talk about Peter
and other members of the cast that we'd been in touch with. Both Carey and
Peter spent a great deal of time attempting to get a remake of the Big
Valley - with the original cast and of course their off- springs who would
more than likely carry the "Star Quality" interest for the audiences of the
day.

They were extremely frustrated in finding who actually held the rights to
make such a show and who would sponsor it and what network would show it.
(It would have good for ABC as they were the original network, but a lot has
happened to television since 1969.)

Carey told me on many occasions that Peter was changing, yes Nick Barkley
was still there, it was sometime that Carey had difficulty explaining. Later
it started to become obvious to Carey that the changes were the result of
either memory loss of forgetfulness . . . .

Before his passing Carey made a very accurate guess about the problem. This
was just before the time the E-Mails were flying concerning Peter's laziness
or what ever. I know that there's not a lazy bone in his body, at least not
one that was ever apparent to me. I chose not to get involved with the
debate because . . . well to put it bluntly, it was none of my business. It
was far better when Diane's letter was posted.

Before her passing my Mother suffered probably the same thing. At least it
had the same name. It wasn't easy for any of the rest of the family . . . .
especially her severe mood changes.

So, keep both Peter and Diane (and the members of the Valley) in your
prayers. That is the very best thing that you can do.

My wife and I are moving. Who among you must I explain what a pain in the .
. . that is. Her Mother suffers from both osteoporosis & osteoarthritis and
we will be moving her in with us and that meant the need to get away from
the ocean and get a larger home. (The "Packet" address and my E-Mail address
will remain the same so that I will be able to stay in touch.)

Again I want to thank all of you that sent your wonderful letters to our
school systems superintendent. Unfortunately he nor his staff has ever
responded - not even after a second E-Mail was sent. Such is life.

As said before;

Have a wonderful Holiday Season - please keep Christ in Mind and Heart!

And I thought I had other things to worry about when I was outside.

Heres the site the story is on.

This town is just across the county line from me. Use to be a lovely place
called the Crossroads to go to for a night out or stay, Each bedroom was done
like a differant country, the one for Afica, had Elephant tusk ( I'm sure they
were made of plastic) at the head of the bed, with all kinds of Aficain
wildllife prints here and there.the pity is with time things change :(

Heres the deer story

'SEEMED LIKE HOURS': Deer's victim covered with bruises, scratches
By SHELLEY LIVERNOIS
JOHNSON NEWSPAPERS
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2009
MOIRA - For a few terrifying minutes, a Moira man became prey for a disgruntled
buck.

An attack by a 10-point buck Friday sent Gerald A. Dabiew, 56, to the emergency
room, covered from head to toe with cuts and bruises. Mr. Dabiew - who doesn't
even hunt - was attacked for several minutes by the buck behind his house on
Best Road.

"It seemed like hours," Mr. Dabiew said.

He was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital, but still was
sore Monday, covered in bruises and scratches but with no broken bones.

His home is isolated and surrounded by woods, and Mr. Dabiew said he has seen
deer in the area, but none has come close to him. So on Friday, as he was
loading wood into a bucket behind his house, he didn't think twice as he spotted
the buck across the road, watching it as he finished his work.

"He stepped on the road, he looked at me, and the next thing I know, he was
coming right at me," he said. "He got me down on the ground, and it was then I
knew that he really wanted to kill me."

For several minutes, Mr. Dabiew fought the buck, which tried to flip him over
several times as he wrapped his legs around the animal's neck and held on to its
antlers.

The buck kept him pinned and pounded him into the ground, holding him there so
he couldn't move. When Mr. Dabiew tried to wrestle himself loose, the buck would
ram him again, he said.

"But I wasn't letting go of him," he said.

The buck injured Mr. Dabiew's hand and body with its antlers, although the
antlers didn't puncture his body, and kicked him on the jaw.

"I've got bruises from head to toe," he said. "He picked me up in the air and
pounded me into the ground."

During the ordeal, Mr. Dabiew, who was home alone, said he hollered for help
until his throat went dry as he continued to battle the animal. Without the
adrenaline pulsing through his veins, he said, he never would have lasted as
long as he did. Even then, by the end of the fight his arms had lost all their
strength.

The buck tried one last time to turn him over, but Mr. Dabiew, who describes
himself as "a good-sized guy," broke loose and managed eventually to kick the
animal, causing it to back off and run away.

"I don't know why he came around. All I was doing was throwing wood," he said.
"I'm not even a hunter."

Mr. Dabiew said the sound of the wood hitting his bucket could have sounded like
deer antlers being hit together, a strategy hunters often use to lure deer.

No matter what the cause, deer attacks are uncommon, but not unheard of.

"This is breeding season for whitetails, and they get pretty aggressive, usually
with other bucks," said wildlife biologist Ed Reed of the state Department of
Environmental Conservation Region 5 office. "They have been known to attack
people. If he sees something moving, he feels like it's somebody encroaching on
his territory."

In fact, people are more likely to be attacked by a deer than a bear, which more
people fear but which attack extremely rarely.

Mr. Reed said people should not be concerned for their safety in light of
Friday's attack against Mr. Dabiew. He said Mr. Dabiew's theory about why the
buck attacked could be correct, as the sound of wood hitting a bucket would have
simulated the "sound of bucks fighting."

Mr. Dabiew said he certainly didn't consider deer to be dangerous animals -
until Friday.

"It changed my way of thinking," he said. "I took an awful pounding; I know
that."

some way with the VLC player. Sometimes the channels are scrambled but
then they unscramble. I really really really recommend reading through
ALL the posts FIRST as many questions are answered with any problems you
have and shortcuts you can implement but you may want to just save the
various links in the posts before applying them because I think the
FilmOn player went through an upgrade at some point so I don't know if
they all will work now.

A couple of things when the registration page opens after you download
the FilmOn player just hit 'skip' and don't register it or you will get
notices to subscribe and to stop the player from opening when you turn
your computer on go to 'view' then 'preferences' and unclick the start
up at sign in box.

There is also http://livestation.com <http://livestation.com> that I
just found someone posted about which works for ITV 1, 2, 3 and other

I wanted to get the word out about this yesterday since Doctor Who and
Top Gear new seasons were starting tonite but I was not online yesterday
so I fear it is too late for most on my flist for tonite :( ..but good

be all set to watch him at the same time as your mates in the UK *yay*
and then still get a torrent to rewatch later *hee*
