Well, we received a call today from CBS for an audition. Audition is tomorrow
at noon at local hotel (we're in northern California). Hopefully, we'll make it
to the finals!
WORD ON THE STREET IS THAT TAR IS GOING TO BE
BIGGER THAN THAT SHOW THAT MAKES PEOPLE SIT IN ONE PLACE
AND STARE AT EACH OTHER. SO I HOPE THOSE CRAZY
CONTESTANTS START BUYING THEIR STAR SHADES! NO PICS PLEASE,
NO, I WON'T SIGN MY AUTOGRAPH, HEY, WHO'S THAT IN THE
BUSHES??
My brother and I are filming our 3 minute demo
tape tonight and sending our application materials out
tomorrow via fed-ex. Hopefully we'll get a call back. The
buzz on this show is good. Keeping our fingers
crossed!
Ok y'all, i heard through the grapevine that some
of those crazy people on this show actually hang
out!! Does anyone have any information on when and
where they are getting together next? I guess I will
wait until it comes out in the tabloids :)
Taxi Racer...I do admit, but by mesquitos I am not bit. Glide and plunge through
gorge and valley, from natures roads to narrow back alley. Taxi Racer, yes I
am, right way wrong, opps, try again.
That's just it ... anyone who just off the cliff
in the commercial couldn't have been thinking. Only
a fool would jump that! I wonder if that person who
jumped was a "Survivor"? ... oops that's a completely
different show! LOLOLO
I assume you're talking about where the person
falls or jumps off the cliff at the end of the
commercial. What do you mean only crazy people would have
jumped? I could do that kind of stuff with my eyes closed
and I'm not crazy. Try running naked through a herd
of angry weasels - now that's crazy. Alright, maybe
I'm just jealous that they got to do it and I didn't.
I've never entered a chat room before, but I had
to find other people who are just as excited about
this new show! It looks like a winner to me! I can't
wait to see all the places they got to travel...and I
love watching the commercials--only crazy would people
would have jumped! What were they thinking?
Yes, they sell Wings in LA.
Roscoe's Chicken
and Waffles!
You have to try them. Come and get
them baby. As far as the show goes, I saw another
teaser last night. It was a little longer then the other
one. And looked great. Man I can't wait to see this
show.
All I can say is "it is what it is"...and I love summer...but the show gives me
a reason to look forward to Fall...look out West Wing!

Do you think they
sell chicken wings in the west?
Hello live42day7,

I have no idea what the
hell they are talking about?
But I can say "I
can't wait for this show to air." Every time I see one
of these teaser's I want more.
Talk to you
later, POP
I saw the commercial for the first time last night. The show looks to be very
interesting and full of action. I am looking forward to watching to see how
things turn out.
I'm with you twocdestiny! What is all this
gymnasiums talk? Let hear some good gossip about this RACE.
You, What, When, Where and How.... Lets go people.
And for Mr. Sirlinksalotnet I checked out your web
site and I think you information is incorrect.
Example: I think there are 11 teams?
Where are you
getting your information?
What the hell does joining the gym have to do
with The Amazing Race??? what gym? what notice?Am I in
the right club or what?? Why are we talking about
chickens as opposed to that fantastic promo I saw during
the Backstreet boys special???
did he want some ben and jerrys and they told him
no therefore he did not back down? did he get kicked
out of a restaurant and wanted to peck them to death
therefore he did not back down? did he want to live in a
high-rise in the sky and they did not rent to ckickens
therefore he did not back down? maybe they wouldn't buy him
cat food and therefore he had to put up a fight
--therefore he did not back down!!
The Teaser for the show Is Awesome!!!!!
I saw
the teaser today and man I can't wait to see this
show. It looks incredible! I don't think there is
another show out there that can touch it. Well, I guess
we will have to wait and see.
a couple days ago, looked a lot like a cross
between the Mole and Survivor. There was one brief but
disturbing part, contestants were crossing a deep drop on
ropes, and it looked as if one contestant lost his/her
hold on the rope, screamed, and a camera posted at a
distance (for just such a purpose?) seemed to be following
them falling for at least several hundred feet.
Or
so it looked in the brief sequence. I would
certainly hope I was mistaken about this. Whether or not
the contestants received verbal warnings or signed
waivers, it would be extremely reckless and irresponsible
beyond words to expose them to stunts with a probability
of a life-threatening fall without the usual
precautions (belaying, safety lines, etc.)
Even "Fear
Factor" uses safety lines.
Even more reckless and
irresponsible to use someone's serious injury/death as part of
a teaser.
Looks as if the show would have
plenty of excitement without that.
