I finally watched the episode 'Point of Light' that I'd recorded when I went to
a party last weekend. Interested to see actress Fiona Gilles as the character
Fiona Lang. The long-term Taggart fans with good memories may remember her
playing Michael Jardine's girlfriend, Gemma Normanton, who reappears in
'Gingerbread' and hurts him all over again (Evil heartbreaker!! Jackie was none
too impressed!). Now, without giving too much away for those who haven't seen
'Point of Light' yet, Fiona Lang has not had the happiest life in recent times.
CLEARLY SHE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH MICHAEL!!!!!!
(Don't tell me Gemma and Fiona are two different people. I'm having fun here: a
little mixing up of characters makes for a better story sometimes!)

Unfortunately, the BBC iplayer refuses to speak to we colonials. Snobby thing
only talks to Brits!!!

EEEK! Couldn't help noticing Malcolm Innes popping up in tonight's episode of Taggart, 'Safer' (in Australia). Okay, so this time he was calling himself Colin Mc Dermott (and I'm sure the actor Lewis Howden is a very nice person) but I couldn't help loathing him on sight again after the hard time he, as Malcolm Innes, gave our Michael Jardine in the last days of his life!!!!!
(Again, I wanted to yell at Jackie "Don't you remember who this is???")
The Rebus/Taggart sketch is in the BBC iplayer. Children in Need part 4 and about 35 minutes in. Hope that helps

Hoping someone recorded it and might pop it up on youtube!
(still keep hoping that the bit from 'Children in Need' a few years ago where
James Macpherson sang with some of the guys from 'Wet, Wet, Wet' might appear
there one day for we fans on the other side of the world)

Taggart gets raunchy as it approaches its centenary
Video: Taggart first aired in 1983 and this pilot episode titled ‘Killer’ not only went on to win a Scottish Bafta but laid the foundations of a programme which has continued to entertain and enthral views across Scotland.
It's ripper news here's hoping that all the reports are correct.
