Hi Duncan,
I live in the US and can only access Taggart on DVD so I've researched
DVD availabilty intensively.
The good news is that Knife Edge is part of Taggart Collection, Volume
One marketed in Australia by Shock. The bad news is that it's only
available as part of a 4-disc collection including the pilot, Killer,
and the first three episodes of Taggart. It's region code 0 PAL so
UK viewers should be able to view it. Check with EzyDVD on the
internet. They represent Australia's largest brick and mortar DVD
chain and distribute world wide.
More bad news. Double Exposure, The Hitman, and Secrets are not
available on DVD. Perhaps you can get home copies from other Taggart
fans.
Cheers,
Leroy

At least I should be able to hear him better now, as finally was able
to get a new sound card (or something - whatever they call it). I'm
not very computer savvy!
Previously, everyone and everything sounded like the chipmonks.

According to the Radio Scotland newsletter, James Macpherson (formerly our very own DCI Michael Jardine) is to be on the radio again this coming week. After co-hosting with Fred MacAulay a few weeks ago, and going solo on the Friday program, he is back, along with John Beattie, filling in while Fred is on holidays. The notice says:
"Fred MacAulay is still on his holidays this week. Keeping Radio Scotland listeners entertained in his absence are a couple of heavyweights: Taggart star James MacPherson and John Beattie. The guest on Monday is Geordie comedian Ross Noble. Listen in every weekday morning from 0930-1100 for special guests, giggles and a look at the lighter side of life."
If, like me on the other side of the world, you can't always listen live, BBC Scotland have a 'Listen again' function, where you can hear a program for up to 7 days after broadcast. Just find Radio Scotland on the web and you'll easily find 'Listen again'.
Hi Guys, I have removed all of 'my' photos from the old site nd will post on
the new site next week.
cheers
Robyn

OK, don’t get too excited – I know not much more than you, but I heard from the publicists today that at the moment Taggart is listed for the autumn schedules ie September to December.
They expect to hear more within the next 4 weeks and I’ve been told that they will let me know. Rest assured I will let you all know as soon as I do!!!............I want to know how Robbie managed to get himself into trouble with a pair of binoculars….but I think I can guess!!!!

I do have all of these but am not the fastest copier - we're talking

of a few months, drop another note to the list and I can definitely fill
the gaps.

Taggart - An Eye For An Eye / Penthouse And Pavement / Atonement.
I think this is the best collection of new Taggart episodes brought
out by John Williams Productions. What does everyone think? I can't
wait for the next box set!!!
Also, I'm looking for these Taggart episodes on video as they haven't
been released on DVD for some reason - Devil's Advocate, Angel Eyes,
Dead Man's Chest, Apocalypse, Long Time Dead and Bloodlines. Can
anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi,
I hadn't posted on the old group for a while, but I still lurked
around so it was quite a surprise to read all the messages about its
closure.
So I just wanted to say thanks to elfin for getting this group running
so quickly... I still need my Taggart fix!!

Just want to join the others in thanking you for your quick response in opening this new Group. Just love the photo of the 'Fab Four' you have at the top of the page.
Had quite a shock to see all the messages on the other Group about it's closure, as I had only been in there the day before. Really have to be quick to keep up with changes these days.

I totally agree! Elfin, it was wonderful of you to get organised so quickly. I just hope that all who have been part of the other group have the opportunity to find out what happened and join us in 'the new world'.
(It's sad that other group looks set to be shut down. While I respect anyone's right to withdraw from something if they no longer feel it's right, I still can't quite get over the fact that someone would just think it's okay to pull apart something that means a lot to others - and which they haven't really been part of for a long time!)
Thank you also to Joe for moving the articles and some of the photos. That's something I thought about last night - too valuable to lose. I don't have the skills to move the other photos - it there someone who can?

Hello -
I was nervous about setting this up, I didn't want to offend Rose. But
I've had other people do this to groups at yahoo and it has led to lots
of ill-feeling.
So welcome, I've set this to approved membership to keep away spammers
(like with all my lists).
Make yourselves at home and I'll keep adding people as they request it.
