I just wanted everyone to know that while I was
surfing the net tonight I found some pictures of Strong
Medicine's appearnce on Hollywood Squares last week. And I
decided that I would put them in a new album (called
Strong Medicine on Hollywood Squares) for those of you
who may not have seen them. If I find any other
pictures on the internet of Strong Medicine from ebay or
any other sources I will make sure to post them in
this club.
I have just finished watching Strong Medicine for
like the tenth time since it was on last night. And
I'll probaly end up watching it at least one more time
before I go to bed tonight. And boy did I love last
night's episode. I espically loved the scences between
Nick and Dana. I really love these two as a couple.
They fit so well together. I wonder what's going to
happen next season, considering more people are
beginning to find out about their relationship. I also
enjoyed seeing both Debbie Morgan and Gabrielle Carteris
acting again. They are both great actresses and I was so
glad to see them. I think that Strong Medicine is one
of the best televion shows on right now. I look
forward to Sunday night's so that I can watch Strong
Medicine. I don't know if I can wait for the new episodes
next season. I was wondering if maybe we'de all like
to meet in the chat room one of these days. If that
sound like somthing you would like to do please respond
to my message.

TTYL
LIZZY
I can't wait to see sunday's episode. At first I
got confused by the preview, but after reading the
description I made sense. I really don't think that Dana
would ever leave the Show, she's one of the leads, It's
all a ploy to leave you hanging for the season
finale(It's a real good one though). And I agree Marc should
be on more often. He really is a good actor and is
sometimes underutilized(I think I spelled it right)like in
last episode when all he did was really sleep. But
anyways, I can't wait until Sunday for the new
episode.

Bye :)
I gotta say I agree with you. I love the line
where Lu says "Find me a man who is any holier than
Mother Teresa and I'll discontinue my rant." (or
something to that effect.) Maybe it's because I'm a
Protestant, I dunno. But I think that if you can do the job,
and do it how it's supposed to be done, then no one
has any business telling you you can't do it. I guess
I got the same viewpoint as Dana cuz I'm an
Episcopalian. Can't wait til next weels episond. It's sure to
be a good one!! Is anyone else having Marc
withdrawals?
I really liked that last episode. I was kinda
unhappy though that you don't find out who commited the
murder. I don't think that the Sickle Cell woman did it.I
was also wondering why Lu was so emotional when she
was calling 911. Was she really that close to the man
or was it just sheer terror of that happening to
someone she knew? I also felt so bad about the woman who
pretended to be a priest. I totally agree with what Lu
said, I too have some issues w/ the Catholic Church. The
woman was no less holy than any priest and she deserved
to have that same title. I am not Catholic, and one
of the best pastors I have ever had is basically
everything a catholic priest is not. She was married, to
another pastor, had a gay brother who died from AIDS, and
has three children. I think that if there were women
in the catholic priesthood they would be considered
at the same level as men. I feel that the religion
is partial to men as athority figures and leaves
women only to be nuns. Anyways, I'm sorry if I drifted
off the topic, but next week's episode looks really
good too. Come on everyone, like everyone has said
let's get a conversation going there are 15 members in
this club and there isn't a lot of talk...

Bye
:)
I really agree w/ what was said. Dr Jackson did
act a kind of sleazy but like Dana had said he
probably mistaked the rush he got from delivering the baby
as feelings for Dana. I don't think that they had
aything romantic going on, but they did seem to work well
together. And,for a while there I kinda forgot that he was
married. You hardly hear anything about his wife anymore.
Also that baby really did look fake, it was probably
plastic or something like that. I also really felt bad
for Lu. I think that she did what she had to do with
the autistic child. I felt that the mother, even
though you could see how desperate she was, should have
realized in the end that the drug(I forgot the name)would
in the long term harm the child more than it would
help her. I did however think that it was however a
litle much to throw Lu out of her house like that. The
mother I feel overreacted to Lu giving her daughter the
saline. I thought that the mother would relize that Lu
was only doing what was best for the child, even
though that may not be the mother's opinion. THe other
thing was Scarlett's(the one w/ CF)husband. He seemed
like such a nice guy who just didn't want to let go of
his wife. When everyone found out about the 18 mil I
got so mad w/ the guy. How selfish of a man could he
be to do that? He prolonged his wife's suffering for
his own advantage.

The episode 4 next week
looks good, counting down the days!
Bye :)
I've been a member of this club for a while, but
since there never seems to be much going on here I've
never posted. Maybe this will change. I tried to
register at Lifetime to post my comments there, but the
page won't open.

Anyways.. about this new
ep....."whoa". I can't believe that Dr. Jackson was trying to
get with Dr. Stowe! I just read some posts at the
Lifetime "SM" board and everybody pretty much thinks he's
a sleaze now. While I don't approve of his
attempted philadering, I sympathise with him -- Remember,
he and his wife were thisclose to divorcing before
it was discovered that she had MS. I thought it was
good that they were going to try to stay together, but
I think it would have been unrealistic if their
marital problems were suddenly gone (which is what it
seemed like until tonight's ep). If anything, it seems
to me that their problems would be worse. Think
about it -- they supposedly had ALREADY gone through
counciling and every other possible remedy to no avail.

But, I WOULD have liked a little more warning in the
previous episodes that the Jackson's were still having
problems. Bob's suggestion to Dana just seemed to come out
of the blue. In future episodes I would like to see
or hear more about how things are going with his
wife -- like the problems. We as viewers are going to
have a hard time caring about his character if we
don't get to see or hear how hard it is for him to stay
in his marriage. If more about his situation isn't
revealed he will seem like a real cad (I know, I know --
too late! LOL).

I'm also disappointed that it
was Dr. Stowe that he flirted with. They have
absolutely NO chemistry! There is ALWAYS chemistry between
Dr. Jackson and Dr. DelGado (sp?). Although, I don't
think Lou would give in either (at least not while he's
still married) the flirtation would have been more
exciting and the scene would have been more intense (and
not to mention, made more SENSE)!

KellyK

PS -- did anybody else think that airplane birth
scene was ruined by the obviously fake newborn? When I
saw that I LOLed!

Oooh, maybe TPTB should
have Dr. Jackson go through a full-fledged mid-life
crisis.....he could even grow a sexy goatee like he sported on
"Oz".....ooooh yeah..... ;)
I don't really have time to write much right now,
but I just want to say that I really liked Sunday's
Episode. I was suprised though that Lana became that sick.
She seems like she is going to be ok though. Also I
wasn't suprised at the girl who had the STD. I'm in High
School and in the locker rooms you hear all the time
girls saying how they were having sex when their
parents weren't home. I was suprised though that it
started so young. When I was in middle school the girls
and guys would just make out in the bathrooms, but
then again I don't live in city and my school was kind
of small. Anyways, They have new episodes starting
on Feb 18th(I think)that means only a few weeks of
reruns!
Bye :)
Thanks this helps a lot. I figured out the problem i had. The VCR time was
wrong. I didn't know my mother unplugged the VCR earlier that day fixing the
fish tank.
sure, Lu had this patient Alisha who dropped a
shipment of shipment of frozen waffles on her hand. She
came in and then Lu discovered she had early menopaus,
due to an enviromental toxin called chlordane in her
housing complex. Lu tells the people in the complex about
the chemical but they don't care because they said it
was hard to get in there in the first place. Lu tells
an enviromental council(or something I forget what
it was)and the people have to move. When Lu is
parked at the complex she comes out and people have
spraypainted grafitti all over her car.Lu also has a patient
who looses her her baby in childbirth.
Meanwhile
Dana is trying to deal with this woman who's having
trouble breastfeeding her baby. She suffering from
PPD(post partum depression). She runs away and leaves her
bay with the nanny. Dana later finds her in a diner
and brings her back.
dana also meets Nick's mother
who at first hates her at first. Dana then sits down
with her and talks to her and hinds out the only
reason his mother didn't like her was because Nick's mom
was afraid to loose her son
I really liked tonight's episode. It was so sad
though about the baby that died. And also, I don't
understand why those people were so upset at Lu. I know she
told them some bad news, but still I would be happy to
get out of an unsafe place even though it may have
been hard to get into in the first place. I know they
probably aren't the richest people in the world, but
wouldn't you rather live somewhere else than become sick
because of toxic chemicals?

I was sorry to see LU and Jack break up as well. However, Lu deserves someone
that is going to love her and Marc unconditionally. The right guy will come
along for her :o)

Babie
I agree, I really thought that they had something good going. It was so sad
when they broke up. I thought that they would last, but on the other hand like
you said it seemed to good to be true
I hate the Jack broke up with Lu. I new something like that was doing to
happen. I had it feeling. It was to good to be true. He doesn't want a ready
made family.
Chris Marquette is the one who plays Marc now. He
was on Disney a lot in Noah, Geppetto, Even Stevens,
and Up Up and Away. Paul Robert Langdon played Marc
in the pilot. If you go to imdb.com and search for
Strong Medicine, they have a page of info along with
guest appearances.
Yes, I did notice that. I have no idea what the
name of that kid was though.

Like you, I have
also seen the kid who plays Marc on other stuff too.
He may have been on Disney, I cannot remember..
Did you guys notice that in the pilot the son was played by someone else. The
kid that they have now i've seen in some other things but i can't put a finger
on it right now.
I also thought that episode was a good one. i am happy that Lu is with someone
she likes. They were all wrong about Dana and the dog. The dog was cute once
she got cleaned up.
I loved that episode. I am so glad Lu and the
construction worker are going out. They really seem like they
belong together. I was wondering what happened to him
after episode 9. I also thought it was funny when Lana
and Peter where crawling aroung looking for that dog.
And I aslo don't feel what the girls parents did to
her was right. I know that it's their culture but
it's also a danger to her health. Anywayz, GTG
Has anyone ever heard Rosa Blasi sing. I heard
that she was really good, and then I went to her
website,rosablasi.com, and they had these videos of her. One of them was
of her singing Miss. Saigon. She is such a great
singer and has a really good voice ,check it out.
I know I am probably talking too much but i do
have a tendency to do that. Enjoy the Holidays and
come soon and see what's been posted. I'll have some
time over the Thanksgiving holiday to get this page up
and running. hopefully it will have more pictures and
info. I'm going to try to but up full cast bios but
until I do you can visit Lifetimetv.com and go to the
Strong Medicine link. There you will find videos, bios,
pictures and general info.
There won't be any new episodes for about another
week. Next week the episode is called Dependency. This
is one of my favorites because in the beginning Lu
backtalks to this really annoying construction worker and
boy does he deserve it. Also this is the first time
during the entire run of the series when Lu finds some
romance over a Philly Cheesteak.
The week after,on
December 3rd, there is a new episode.Lu diagnoses a woman
with Fibromylasia, a debilitating muscle and bone
disease that cannot be detected through blood testing.
Because of this, the medical board does not recognize it
as a real disease and the woman is denied the
disability coverage she deserves. Dana examines a young girl
who appears to be suffering form a severe sexual
assault. After she calls the police and the girls parents,
Dana learns that the damage was incurred during a
cultural ritual. The police are required by law to notify
the INS, though, and the parents risk deportation.
I'm really sorry the page is really messy. I'm
trying to figure out how to put up the club picture but
for some reason it's not showing up. also when I
figure out how to work the calender I'll put the
schedule up for all the episodes. I'm going to do my best
to make this page organized soon but i'm relly a
novice at this so be patient please. If you have any
sugesions or anything post them and I'll do my best
