Hi Em,
No, that wasn't me on facebook as I don't have an account there!
I'll let you know what I discover, if anything, next week once I'm zooming, as
opposed to crawling around the web. By the way, even though its somewhat
inferior to the first 3 series, I wouldn't mind getting a hold of the 4th one,
and, as it doesn't seem available on DVD in any country, I wonder about
downloading it from a peer to peer network. I'd even pay for a legal download,
as long as it was available and of good quality!!! Don't ask for much do I?
By the way if by who you refer to as people, you mean by the two of us, one in
the UK, and one downunder in Oz, its pretty lean pickings for the whole world!
Regards,
Steve

anything startling had been commenced. Admittedly, I am also presently on
dial-up, but next week I will be on broadband (100-200 times faster! Yippee),and
will have a more substantial prowl. I wonder if Phil Cornwell and/or John
Seesions have their own blogs etc somewhere...

comedies of the last 20 years (with "The Office"). The reason I have had my
interest rekindled in the show is that I took the plunge and ordered the first 3
series on DVD from the UK which I have received just today, and have already
watched series 1 again. A flashback to 9 or 10 years ago when I was smoking dope
(no way these days!!) and I channel-surfed over to SBS where Michael Caine, Joe
Pesci et al were holding fort. Due to my chemically induced state, I really had
to wonder if I was imagining it all!! As Joe would say, "What the f*ck is going
on here??"

year and the following one when the show was repeated. I was so excited when the
movie was coming out (direct to DVD over here), but was very disappointed due to
my expectations being so high from the show. In fact, its just a collection of
skits, some of which were repeated from the series, and I so wanted it to
succeed with Phil and John becoming huge stars in recognition of their
brilliance.. . I'm afraid Ronni Ancona detracted from the main actors as well.
