Hi Everybody-

Dragon*Con is America's largest, multi-media, popular arts convention
focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art,
music, and film. This incredible convention will be held over Labor Day
weekend in Atlanta, Georgia (August 31-September 3, 2007).

More than 250 actors, guests, and authors typically attend this
convention. Any and every fannish interest is represented, from literary
science fiction, to fantasty, to media. Each of these varied areas are
called "Tracks" and run like mini-conventions under the umbrella of the
larger Dragon*Con organization.

The tracks include the following: American SF/Fantasy, Anime/Animation,
Art Show Forums & Workshops, Autograph Sessions, Battlestar Galactica,
British SF/Media, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Comics, Costuming, Electronic
Frontiers Forum, Filking, Gothic Shadows, Independent Film, Late-Night
(LIVE), Main Programming, Podcasting, Readings, Robotics, Science Fiction
Classics, Sci-Fi and Fantasy Literature, Silk Road: Asian Cinima &
Culture, Space & Science, Tribal Gathering, Star Trek: TrekTrak, Star
Wars: MOTF, Star Gate: Offworld Fandom, Tolkien's Middle Earth, Wheel of
Time, Weyrfest, Writer's Track, X-Track, and Young Adult Literature.

We are working with Dragon*Con to have a Space: 1999 panel or two added to
the British SF/Media track. Also, we'll get together one or two of the
evenings, for socializing and screening episodes! In other words - it's
going to be a fun, laid back weekend for fans to indulge in all of their
sci fi/fantasy passions, including some of our own Space: 1999.

Attending memberships for Dragon*Con are just $60 for FOUR days (Friday to
Monday) - that's just $15 a day - for incredible programming, events and
hundreds of guests from all genres. This membership price is good through
May 15th, after which the price goes up incrementally until the convention
dates.

The convention hotels are now open for reservations, too. The three main
hotels are the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, and
the Atlanta Hilton. All three have special Dragon*Con rates (which reduce
room costs up to 50%). Full info and hotel reservation codes are located
on the Dragon*Con official website at:

www.dragoncon.org

We look forward to seeing as many fans as possible in Atlanta this coming
Labor Day weekend!
