I know promoting items for sale is probably prohibited here. If
anyone is bothered about it I won't do it again but just in case any
of you are interested I am selling off some of the excess parts I
have for the Mattel Eagle. I've been gradually working on completing
my Eagle by buying incomplete ones on ebay and cannabilizing them for
the parts I need, resulting in a small cache of parts I don't need.

I think the starting prices are pretty reasonable, I have one command
module without a hatch starting at $10, three main section windows
starting at $2.00 each, seven small feet currently going for $7.00
each, six large feet currently going for $11.11 each, two small
rockets (the bottom ones, not the side thrusters) going for $10.00
each, and two bare bones main sections starting at $25.00 each.

If anyone else in this group is trying to put together a complete
Mattel Eagle have a look at these parts. I'm in Calgary, site of the
big 2008 Another Con, Another Place convention. If anyone else is
local to Calgary and wins these parts local pickup is certainly an
option to save on shipping, which is particularly expensive for the
main sections because they are so freaking huge. If you come by to
pick up a part I might even show you how close my own ship is to
complete! At the very least we can talk 1999 a bit.

By the way, why is the group so quiet lately? Is it always like
this? Does anyone else here have a Mattel Eagle or parts of it that
they might be interested in parting with? I'm looking for three side
thrusters, a chair, a crane, two large rockets, a Bergman figure, a
box in good condition and of course the three phasers and one rifle
that are so hard to come by. I'd also be interested in real main
section doors that were not broken. My ship has replica doors on it
now. You can't tell the difference really but I know they are not
original.
