She always kisses those who love Dana -- maybe it
shouldn't be a surprise that she's kissing you.

You're more transparent than you thought.

You wonder whether it's strategy or sublimation that
keeps making Sally lash out against Dana in this way.
Most of all, you wonder if Dana twice-removed lingers
on the tongue that stroked Gordon's skin.

If anyone finds out, there will be so many people
looking for explanations -- and you won't have one.

You hate yourself for letting her continue.

"Don't tell anyone," you whisper.

"You can trust me."

"I don't." You still kiss her again.
