There's something familiar in Danny, but Donna can't
figure it out. He's like a series of disconnected
notes, and she can't place the tune.

(And, if she could understand the song, she's not sure
that dancing would be a good idea.)

"He's kinda like Josh," Margaret whispers moments
after meeting him.

"No, he's not."

(She's always good at making the same mistakes several
times in a row.)

"Yes, he is."

Donna bites on her lip, studies him. It's there: in
his eyes, in his smile.

(*Him,* except not, and maybe that's what she needs.)

"What?"

She shakes her head. "Nothing."
