These are GREAT. Thanks a lot Tyboheler!

Please, by all means, go
ahead and post the higher quality images. It's a real shame that Dorie isn't
in front of the camera anymore.
Hammer's gun was simply called "gun" or "amigo"
or "compadre." It was a he, except for one episode
"Haven't Gun, Will Travel" where Hammer referred to it as
feminine just so we could have the pay off joke involving
a bartender.

I hope the German translation
doesn't name the gun "Susie," as that's very, very wimpy.
I think I'm going insane. It seems like I
remember that Hammer named his gun. Does anybody know if
he did and what it was? This has been driving me
crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

By the way,
it was a Great Show!

CM
I had never heard of sledgehammer the show until
I saw the Big Tease (in which David plays Stig, the
best character in the whole thing) and decided to join
his fan club. He doesn't have one! But from my
searches I have learnt about the show, and from what I
have seen, I am more happy to join this one. Alan, the
show is hilarious and you ought to be worshipped.
David Rasche is a brilliant sex god. Has he got any
more movie roles coming up?
... is currently up for sale on e-Bay. These are authorized VHS copies from the
production company and only one set is available. Just thought I'd let yah
know.
The funny "Wanted" posters of Sledge from the
episode "Witness" are being offered on e-Bay for only
twenty dollars each. There's about twenty of them and
there's still time to get them.

Best,
Harry...
I remember the show from when I was young but I
thought it was canceled after a very short run. I was
shocked to find that it aired a second season and I
missed it! Does anyone know if anybody runs the show, or
owns the rights?

I would love to see the show
again. I just wish they could have gotten Clint Eastwood
to play Sledge.
Read the review of a new show on MTV called "Sledgehammer" in this week's
Entertainment Weekly. I'm heartened that a show from the eighties hasn't been
forgotten... yet.
Anne-Marie Martin married with Michael Crichton
in 1987. Short after the Sledge Hammer series were
canceled she got a daughter. And since that she does not
play anylonger in film or television. Presently she
writes screenplays. At last she wrote the screenplay to
"Twister" together with her husband.
Anyone know what become of Dori Doreau? She was a
hotty. I heard that she's married to Michael Crichton
(Jurassic Park, ER, etc.) and that she does some writing
now but, she's basically not doing anymore
in-front-of-the-camera roles....
First of all, we need more members in this club.
For Christ's sake, I mean, clubs for "Son of the
Beach" and "Women of Local News" have more people
joining in. Second, you should be organizing petitions
and letter writing campaigns to get the reruns airing
again, either on TV LAND or most perferably: Comedy
Central. C'mon, get motivated out here and I'll chime in
more...
Hey Sledge fans!! I have tons of episodes on video that I originally recorded
back in the mid 80's. Let's trade!! Sledgeinc@... is my email, thanks!
-Daniel
Alan -- you're a god.

Please tell us that
there's somewhere we can go to get high-recording-quality
episodes of Sledge Hammer on tape?!

I've purchased
the 4 episodes that are regularly hawked on EBay but
wanna know if more of them are out there?
Does anybody know if SLedge is on in Europe or
what?
Evey time I do a Google search for "Sledge Hammer!"
all these sites from across the pond come
up.

On that note: Does anybody know of the good Sledge
sites out there?
Thanks!!
BRING SLEDGE BACK!!at least do a movie it's
time.
all these mamby pamby, bleeding heart, pinko cop shows
make me sick,i don't like cops, give me a little campy
humor with an overdose of testosterone!!!!
Alan Spencer here, the creator of "Sledge
Hammer!" I really like Tim Stack and hope you great guys
and girls are supporting his FX series "Son Of The
Beach." Tim's a great guy and a true offbeat auteur,
which his previous show "NightStand" certainly proved.
I'm very touched to see this club in existence,
almost as much as by my last residual check from the
show.
On "DAG" David Rasche did indeed play the
President, approximating what it would be like had McCain
been elected. (He still might.) Anway, the Prez's code
name amongst the Secret Service was "Hammer," which
was added by the star of the show, David Allan Grier,
who apparently was a fan of "Sledge!" It was nice of
him to do that.
OMG I'm soooooooooo happy.... I never thought
that there would be a club on here for
Sledgehammer!
I use to watch this show all the time when I was
younger! I wish I had some of the shows on tape.... I
don't even really remember what the show was about
really.... I just know I loved it!!!! :)

*Jill*
