Apparently, they're following through, as I see that Simon & Simon: Season 2 is
indeed
now available on DVD!

Also, in case you haven't noticed, NetFlix has the entire 8 seasons of Simon &
Simon (or
most of the episodes, anyhow) available to Watch Instantly. If you're a NetFlix
subscriber,
the Watch Instantly feature allows you to view certain movies and TV series
online on your
computer, or on your TV using a special viewer box. Since NetFlix added this
feature, I've
noticed a number of TV series, not yet available on DVD, that NetFlix has been
able to
acquire for on-demand viewing. It seems Simon & Simon is one of them.

(Unfortunately, they apparently didn't get rights to one particular episode that
I was
hoping to see. But I did enjoy watching the rest of the series.)
