More Clone Wars in Spring '05

The Cartoon Network announced a new series of Star Wars Clone Wars for
next March. They will make five new segments, each running 12 minutes
each and will feature more of General Grevious.

SciFi's Shyamalan Documentary - Exposure or Not?

According to press releases and articles, the upcoming SciFi Channel
docuementary about M Night Shyamalan will be an unauthorized,
behind-the-scenes look at Shyamalan's career and the filming of
The Village. It will air for three hours at 8 pm ET/PT on July 18th.
However, a report on Ain't It Cool News indicated that this special
is really been put together by Shyamalan and all the stuff about him
walking out on the documentary is all fake. I guess it will be up
to the viewers.

SciFi 5 Days Disappoints, Dead Zone Improves

SciFi's 5 Days to Midnight averaged 1.69 million viewers over its four
night run, surprising and disappointing SciFi Executives. On USA,
the third season opener of The Dead Zone drew 2.64 million viewers
(a 1.76 household rating) comparable to the 2.6 million average for
last summer. The second week (and part 2) increased to 2.9 million.
I have a feeling The 4400 will do pretty well for USA as well. Note that
SciFi's Bonnie Hammer is now in charge of both SciFi and USA.

Straczynski Considers Trek

In recent posts on the moderated usenet Babylon 5, J. Michael Straczynski
revealed that he had turned down an offer of being an Executive producer
for the past season of Enterprise. He has also put together a treatment
with Bryce Zabel (Dark Skies, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven) for Paramount
on their take on a new Trek series. For the full postings, check out

Stargate Guests Black and Meaney

According to producer Joseph Mallozzi, upcoming guests on SG-1 and Atlantis
will include Claudia Black (Farscape) in the SG-1 episode "Prometheus Unbound",

and Colm Meaney (ST: TNG and ST:DS9) will guest star in a three episode
Atlantis arc. Steve Bacic (Andromeda) will play the Goa'uld System Lord
Camulus in the two part SG-1 season opener and return in a later episode,
Zero Hour. Jolene Blalock (Enterprise) is also returning to SG-1 as the
Jaffa warrior Ishta in the episode currently titled "My Big Fat Jaffa
Wedding".

Farscape Peacekeeper War Images

SciFi has released lots of images from the upcoming Farscape Peackeeper War
miniseries (slated to debut in October). Check out www.farscapeworld.com

The SFTV Schedule, SFTV News and SFTV Talk Mailing Lists Info

All three SFTV mailing lists are now at yahoogroups (who have
bought out egroups which had bought out onelist).
The SFTV Schedules list consists of the roughly bi-weekly
SFTV Schedules mailing. It is a moderated newsletter type
list. SFTV News is a news and info oriented mailing list
that can be posted to by any subscriber. Traffic is a
nywhere from five messages a day to zero, so it is not a
heavy traffic list. SFTV Talk is a discussion list, so
message traffic varies.
