Justice League Finale May 29th, JL Unlimited starts in August

Cartoon Network will air Starcrossed, the three-part final episode of Justice
League, on May 29th starting at 7:30 pm ET/PT. As with prior airings, it is
likely there will also be an airing later in the evening that will be in
widescreen. Cartoon Network also announced that the follow-up series,
Justice League Unlimited, will debut August 7th. The new series will be
stand alone half hour episodes that will bring more characters from the DC
Universe into the animated realm. Cartoon Network describes the new series
as "The heroes of the Justice League return in August with a new series,
Justice League Unlimited, which incorporates a bold new look and a much larger
scope. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern continue to lead the
universes most powerful superheroes in an effort to stop criminal plots and
alien threats that endanger the universe. In Justice League Unlimited, they
are joined by an even greater collection of heroes, some of whom are well-known
,
like Supergirl, Green Arrow and the Atom, as well as some that are less familia
r,
like Booster Gold, Hawk & Dove, Elongated Man, The Question, Mister Miracle,
Big Barda and Zatanna. Each half-hour will tell a power-packed story, combinin

some of the original heroes with new ones as they band together to battle alien

invasions, powerful sorcerers, vast shadowy conspiracies and even ancient gods.

New SciFi Miniseries & Movies in June

5ive Days to Midnight - Five hour miniseries that will air one episode each
night over five days starting Monday, June 7th. The story revolves around coll
ege
professor J.T. Neumeyer, who stumbles upon a mysterious briefcase containing a
police file filled with details of a gruesome murder his own. The file, comple
te
with photos of his bullet-strewn corpse and a list of suspects, indicates that
the
shooting will take place in five days. Though skeptical at first, J.T. realizes
,
when events begin to mirror those in the report, that the file is real and time
is
quickly running out. He has only days to solve the mystery of his own murder an
d
hopefully change the course of the future.

It stars Timothy Hutton as J.T. Neumeyer, Nicole de Boer as Chantal Hume,
Angus MacFadyen as Roy Bremmer, and Randy Quaid as Irwin Sikorski

New to SciFi Movies in June are Post Impact, starring Dean Cain and Nigel Benne

in a post apacalyptic world following a meteor impact, and Decoys, starring
Corey Sevier and Nicole Eggert, which is a comedy/horror/scifi movie about a sc

where the sorority girls aren't quite human.

Other Junes Highlights

Dead Zone returns with Sarah Wynter from 24 joining the cast as Johnny's new lo

interest. New episodes begin June 6th.

Monk Returns June 18th on USA Network.

Salem's Lot miniseries on TNT airs June 20 and June 21. According to a review

PAX has announced two new series that have some genre connections of sorts.

Young Blades - A light-hearted, bigger-than-life, swash-buckling primetime hour

The SFTV Schedule, SFTV News and SFTV Talk Mailing Lists Info

All three SFTV mailing lists are now at yahoogroups (who have
bought out egroups which had bought out onelist).
The SFTV Schedules list consists of the roughly bi-weekly
SFTV Schedules mailing. It is a moderated newsletter type
list. SFTV News is a news and info oriented mailing list
that can be posted to by any subscriber. Traffic is a
nywhere from five messages a day to zero, so it is not a
heavy traffic list. SFTV Talk is a discussion list, so
message traffic varies.
