Battlestar Galactica Officially a Go
After some delays, SciFi formally announced a pickup for a 13 episode series
for Battlestar Galactica in association with Sky One in the U.K. The Futon

The Batman on Kids WB this fall and Cartoon Network in 2005
Kids WB announced that they will have a new series, The Batman, on the air
this fall. It follows the early years of Bruce Wayne as Batman, and will
include his first meetings with many of the villains. It will debut on
Kids WB this fall and turn up on Cartoon network in 2005. For more details,

Strange and The Magicians House on Showtime Netowrks

Already airing on Showtime Beyond on Sunday nights at 9 pm ET (with a
repeat on Thursday night at 9 pm ET) is Strange, starring Richard Coyle
(BBC's Coupling) as defrocked priest and demon hunter John Strange.
Showtime started airing it Feb 1st, but didn't issue a press release until
Feb 10th! They will air all seven episodes one night a week starting
March 21st and will run through the series again starting Sunday, March 28th.
It aired on the BBC as a single episode pilot followed by a six episode
series last year with no current plans for a second series.

Showtime also announced the acquistion of kids series The Magician's House,
which will air on Showtime's FamilyZone in the spring. For more details on

Gallifrey One has Eighth Doctor and Avon

The Gallifrey One convention, Feb 13-16, 2004 in Van Nuys, CA, has announced
that they will have Paul McGann (The Doctor in the FOX TV Movie) and Paul
Darrow (Avon in Blake's 7) appearing in addition to previously announced
main guests Sylvester McCoy (Doctor #7) and Janet Fielding (Tegan). It looks
to be their biggest convention ever. I will be there and will be speaking on

SFTV Schedule Notes

Stripperella Returns Feb 12th - Spike TV Brings back Stripperella for a run of
new episodes, kicking it off with a three hour marathon starting at 9 pm ET/PT
with the new episode airing at 11:30 pm ET/PT.

Roar Unaired - SciFi has scheduled a block of Roar episodes for daytime on
February 27th starting at 11 am ET/PT. At the end of the five hour block,
starting at 2:00 pm ET/PT, will be the two episodes that they never did air
and have not yet aired in the U.S. (The Cage and Sweet Brigit).

The SFTV Schedule, SFTV News and SFTV Talk Mailing Lists Info

All three SFTV mailing lists are now at yahoogroups (who have
bought out egroups which had bought out onelist).
The SFTV Schedules list consists of the roughly bi-weekly
SFTV Schedules mailing. It is a moderated newsletter type
list. SFTV News is a news and info oriented mailing list
that can be posted to by any subscriber. Traffic is a
nywhere from five messages a day to zero, so it is not a
heavy traffic list. SFTV Talk is a discussion list, so
message traffic varies.
