SFTV Administrative Note

It has been a bit longer between updates due to some things going on in my
personal life. My ex-wife, Diane Elliott, passed away suddenly last weekend
due to a serious illness. It was a shock to all of us that knew her and I
have been helping out her parents and friends (who have also been helping me).

Cancellations and showings of support

The WB has cancelled Tarzan and will end its run after the last produced
episode airs this month. L.A. Dragnet has been pulled and production shut
down after ten episodes. Whether it will return to ABC or end up airing
unaired episodes on USA network is unknown.

UPN has given Jake 2.0 a full season order despite being the lowest rated
drama on all the networks.

Galactica on Dec 8th & 9th

SciFi has recently changed the schedule for Battlestar Galactica to running
on Monday and Tuesday nights, Dec 8th and 9th, instead of starting on Dec 7th
as had been previously announced. They will have a The Lowdown special airing
several times as well as a early monday morning "Cable in the Classroom"
special that starts airing this Monday morning, Nov 17th and will continue
running each week through December.

Jeremiah Hiatus Update

Showtime has now announced that they will be showing the remainder of season
two of Jeremiah sometime in 2004. For more info on the hiatus and such,

Starhunter Syndicated

There have been conflicting reports on the status of the syndicated airings of
Starhunter. A lot of stations have dropped it and there have been reports that
the syndicated run has officially been canceled. However, the weekly sat feed
is still happening and it appears a few stations are still airing it.

Firefly North American Premier on Space

Space: The Imagination Station will start airing the previuosly unaired episode
s
of Firefly on Friday nights starting Nov 24th. This will get them all on the
air before the DVD set hits the stores on Dec 9th.

SFTV Schedule Notes

Duck Dodgers Marathon and post Clone Wars new episode - Nov 14th will see
a marathon of five Duck Dodgers episodes starting at 2 pm ET/PT. There is
also a new (or partially new) episode scheduled for Nov 18th at 8:05 pm ET/PT
following that night's edition of Star Wars Clone Wars. Various schedule
services never seem to completely agree which episode is airing or the title.
I've made sure the listings reflect which episodes actually aired.

The SFTV Schedules list consists of the roughly bi-weekly
SFTV Schedules mailing. It is a moderated newsletter type
list. SFTV News is a news and info oriented mailing list
that can be posted to by any subscriber. Traffic is a
nywhere from five messages a day to zero, so it is not a
heavy traffic list. SFTV Talk is a discussion list, so
