(Aug 6) As you saw with the test mail, I had some problems with sending to
the list thanks to overprotective spam prevention from yahoogroups.
Hopefully this will be accepted and will get out to everyone. Thanks
for all the confirmations to the prior test email.

Thanks for the various info that people have passed along to me that
has been incorporated into the latest schedule listings. This includes
correcting Scare Tactics info to getting correct schedule info on
Spider-Man and episode order changes on Dead Like Me.

It's also that time of the year (i.e., My Birthday on August 10th), where
I remind people that if they would like to make any donations towards

SFTV News and Info

SG-1 Season Eight Is Official

As indicated by last week's TV Guide and confirmed at ComicCon by the
MGM Executives present there, Stargate SG-1 will return for an eighth
season. For some info on what is planned for the next season as well
as info on the spinoff, Stargate: Atlantis, visit www.gateworld.net .

Jeremiah in October?

At his ComicCon appearances and also mentioned on the moderated
Babylon 5 newsgroup, J. Michael Straczynski has said that he would not
work on a third season of Jeremiah due mainly to how MGM has been
a real pain to work with on the series. As to when we will actually
see the second season of Jeremiah, that is still not completely certain.
The Showtime site for Jeremiah has said that the new new season would
start on Friday, Sept 19th. However, the Showtime schedule for September
shows Dead Like Me continuing in that time slot at least through
September 26th. It may be someone miscounted Dead Like Me episodes and
the new season of Jeremiah may actually start the first Friday in
October. New promos have been spotted on Showtime promoting the show
returning in October.

Mutant X Changes

From a report on comicscontinuum.com comes word of the changes
happening on Mutant X this season. In the casting area, John Shea's
Adam will no longer be a regular, but will be a recurring character.
Lauren Lee Smith's Emma will not be returning. Joing the cast will
be Karen Cliche (Adventure, Inc.) as Lexa Pierce, who has special
powers that allow her to manipulate light in amazing ways. For details

Spider-Man Schedule Info Tracked Down

Thanks to several subscribers, I've finally got some decent schedule info
for MTV's Spider-Man. Starting last week, they are now airing one new
episode on each Friday, airing a repeat in the 10:30 pm ET/PT time slot.
I'll try to list what the repeat episodes are, but the info may still
be spotty on which ones they will be airing in that slot.

SFTV Schedule Notes

Enterprise Double Dose - With the new season of Enterprise starting
early on Sept 10th, UPN will be running double episodes of Enterprise
repeats starting August 13th.

Summer Season Finales

Stargate SG-1's last new episode this summer will be August 22nd.
Monk's will be the same night. Both USA Network and SciFi will be
promoting those as their "Season Finales", but we all know that
stands for "the last new episode you'll see for six months..."
Tremors will actually end earlier since it's episodes only last
to August 8th, but episodes with TBA are still scheduled on SciFi's
web site.

All three SFTV mailing lists are now at yahoogroups (who have
bought out egroups which had bought out onelist).
The SFTV Schedules list consists of the roughly bi-weekly
SFTV Schedules mailing. It is a moderated newsletter type
list. SFTV News is a news and info oriented mailing list
that can be posted to by any subscriber. Traffic is a
nywhere from five messages a day to zero, so it is not a
heavy traffic list. SFTV Talk is a discussion list, so
message traffic varies.
