Hi! Welcome to our group. We are open to anyone who enjoys the relationship between Sam Carter and Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1. There are a few rules we encourage prospective members to read before deciding to become a part of the group.
• We would like members to be active in the group, sharing their opinion about episodes, comments on special S/D moments, ideas for fics, and similar topics. Our main objective is to find positive things to contribute and help us with the lack of canon in our favor.
• We do center our discussions on Sam/Daniel, but that does not imply hate for any character; bashing is not accepted. Everybody is free to like other pairings; we just ask that this list be used mainly for S/D thoughts.
• We do not have a spoiler policy for any season of the show, except for the upcoming movies.
• We welcome fics, finished or in progress, and we encourage writers to post them directly on the group, unless they have NC-17 content, which could be posted as a link only. For those who do not dare write yet or are just starting, we would like to encourage friendly drabble competitions every month.
• We would appreciate it if, whenever a post is replied, the original post is erased from the response and the reply post makes sense as a paragraph (at least) on its own.
• We also would like members to share any other form of S/D shipping, such as artwork, screensavers, poetry, and anything else that has our couple.
• We do not discourage off-topic posts now and then, especially if the members would like to share something important happening in their lives. We would like to cheer creating a deeper connection between the members. It would be acceptable to post photos (from conventions or everyday life), exchange presents (S/D pictures, buttons, stories), or share knowledge of the actors from the series appearing in other shows. Any suggestion is welcome. After all, we all are here because we share the same passion.
