So, but... Are you talking about next year, summer or this year. As it's nearly winter here, so it's nearly summer there? All that I do hope is that we it does get released it is released at the same time here...

An example is Gameplan which was out early last autumn and now is on DVD which is like 5-6 months later. The concert DVD will probably come out in summer.
Disney and the other studios have spent a lot of time and money researching how long to wait before releasing films to DVD or video tape (in the olden days). If you release too soon, people won't see it in the theater. But if you wait too long, people will have forgotten about the film, or it won't be cool anymore. Disney's average time for film --> DVD is currently about 6 months. The time for any individual film will vary from the average.
Ok, I guess I understand the leaverage between the two, but months? I mean, there are some movies that show in theaters and are out the next month or so on DVD.
Oh, and like I mentioned in my other post. Will the movie get extented for one more week or is this the last week of extention? I really hope not...

I think it's crazy how they're only showing it for a week to artificially create a sense of urgency and create theater sellouts. I for one refuse to be a part of it. They'll almost certainly release it on DVD eventually, although the 3D matter complicates things.

For a movie showing there are many seats and in fact an over amount so anyone with ~15$US can go that week and see it as the runtime is listed as 74 minutes which means like 6-7 times a day and take that times 7 and ya get many times. for the Hannah Concert movie. If I can fit it into my schedule I may go see it. Possibly Wednesday. We'll see.

I think it's crazy how they're only showing it for a week to artificially create a sense of urgency and create theater sellouts. I for one refuse to be a part of it. They'll almost certainly release it on DVD eventually, although the 3D matter complicates things.

concert/movie thing to do extremely well. Both Milwaukee and Madison in Wis. are having good ticket sales for the showing, not a sell out for any one time but good through being a couple weeks out. Radio Disney is
promoting it very well too so no worries on weather or not the concert will be a money maker it just not like an actual concert where tickets are sold out for weeks and at higher prices. For a movie showing there are many
seats and in fact an over amount so anyone with ~15$US can go that week and see it as the runtime is listed as 74 minutes which means like 6-7 times a day and take that times 7 and ya get many times. Enjoy seeing the

Well if I am in Vegas I would bet on seeing a HM concert DVD out this summer but if Disney was smart they would release it to coincide with the new S3 debut so as to tie it together and maybe throw a bonus new song from S3.

Im not really sure what the mission of this group is? Save HM? Well Hannah does not currently need saving. She is the it girl. Miley has a great, fantastic singing voice. I like this group to talk about the show and the cast and anything related to.
I Wonder if Greg has a save Witch or WoWP group??

I'm sorry I went on about WoWP, and I shan't do it again. I'm am kinda finished ranting about how I'm not gonna watch it, and that's that... I just don't think it'll be goos, and I think it will damage my mind more than it already is. There is no offence-ive-ness talk here, I'm just saying all this (IMO).
Yeah, my spelling is quite poor, but vocab, is alright... I just needa learn how to spell :D\
That's great, that the fliming of S3 will start soon, but the sound of everything going around, is that (sorry about my pharsing there) the MOVIE will send an end to HM. We have this group, and we shall not let them happen, am I right? That's the whole reason for starting this group. The only thing is, we need more members. However, I suggest that we start going at Disney now, before it's too late...
I now the popularity of Hannah and Miley is big, and why Disney would want to throw that away, just confusses me, but then again, it's Disney... The thing is, I'm sure that if Walt was still alive, there wouldn't be a problem over KP nor Hannah... It's this new power, that we have to learn to fight, and fight right.
I gotta go, so I'll think of some methods and as they come to me, I shall post them. But as for now, anyone with suggestions to saving the show, please post them.

Your right no point to Miley appearing in HSM2. I am telling folks before bagging on WoWP to watch a couple eps and wait a while for what you saw to sink in and then if ya want make a decision or watch another ep. I dislike people who talk bad about something who have not even given it a chance. Dont worry around me for bad spelling and grammar as I am not a scholar and those I associate with some have not officially passed school so spelling is the least of their worries.
Im not about the group thing be combined as I stick to being only members and let others like Greg here worry about controlling the group; on a few forums I am a moderator of sorts but thats no big. Yes filming for HM S3 is starting very soon and if ya did not know her and her father are hosting the CMT music award show on April 14 in Nashville and will perform together. Both are super excited about it as are both fanbases. The HM
movie is slated to be the finale of the show kinda like how Even Stevens and Lizzie had a movie but with how successful Hannah is for Disney I would like to see what can come next to replace her? and be as popular and a money draw as Miley is.
Well. I also think that with the influnce of how much money Disney made on the concert movie, I would think that they would. Apperntly, the movie will send an end to S3 and an end to the series? Luckly, this group is already astbished ( my spelling is poor...). Although, I mean there isn't many of use her. I think the word needs to be spread. I wonder, I created a group too. Is there anyway to link the two?
Yes, perhaps Disney would won't to play with her more now... I have already strating seeing more of her on DC because WoWP starts next week friday. Oh boy...
And yes, that whole, staff only and Miley showing for a few seconds... There was no point in that. When I heard that Miley was the guest star, I thought that she might have sang. Instead, her face shows for a few seconds, and that's it... Com'on.

I can say with the popularity and huge success HM has the Nashville movie will be theatrical. With HSM3 I mentioned Selena cause she is Disneys new money 'toy' to market. Yes I do agree that Miley was miss used in #2 with 4 secs of face time which meant nothing but to confuse people watching as to why is she there as the pool party was for staff only and Miley was never apart of the staff and did not associate with any of the main cast. This Cheetah 3 movie is going on now so until it is finished and in post-production.
AH, yes. That makes sense. But how long do you think that they will hold back on the epis? I mean, the strike is over now, so S3 production can start soon?
You know, in my eyes Selena will never come close to matching or even comparing close to Miley. Not anyday... Like I mentioned in MKP, I think you'll understand where I'm coming from. But any way. If she does manage to "guest star" in HSM3, I hope that it is not a big part, as I mean, Miley had such a small bit in HSM2. I just don't think it would be right. Oh, and with regurds to the movie (HSM3) where does the story continue? I mean, I love that it is continuing but where to? Are they all going to college now?
So, L.A. is Los Angles, just wanted to make sure. Do you perhaps know when the shooting for both S3 and the Nashville movie will take place? I can guess that S3 would start soon, as soon as the writiers are done, but do you perhaps know any dates. And for the Nashville movie too? I can't remember if I read it here or if my mind is playing tricks on me. Did you say that the Nashville movie would be fliming around September or so?
Yeah, it would actually be nice to see Nashville and what goes on there...
Yes, I can understand that tatic. But HSM3 won't be theartical, will it? Both the first and second ones were only showen on DC. Also, is the Nashville movie going to be thearitical? Because that would be AWESOME!!!
Thanks for all the info thus far...

The HM eps were held back cause that DCs most popular series and with the strike going on DC did not want to run out of new HM eps many weeks before the strike was ended and then leave some lag time in between the S2 and the new S3 beginning which would have to wait until the strike ended. Basically Disney took the lesser of two evils as they knew many would be upset for so long of time between new HM eps but at least this way DC had some fresh eps to introduce when they wanted to.
I believe Selena Gomez will guest star in HSM3 as she is a new person/character DC wants everyone to be familiar with and branded to Disney. But with the theme being graduation it would be cool for Hannah to perform at the prom dance. Some high school in a suburb of Salt Lake is where the school is at but also for HSM2 some filming was did in Albuquerque for the college scenes.
Hannahs studio is in Los Angles which is long for LA. And the
Hannah movie is going to be a feature film released in theatres but I feel it will be after HSM3 to allow for space as DC wants everyone to pay for HSM3 and then pay again for HM since that fanbase is almost the same and intertwined. It makes business sense to not let the fans choose between one or the other so if there is no choice then the people will go see and pay for both. This kind of tactic is something that I do to gain the max. amount of money and exposure. Basically the HM movie will be produce by her father and the story is Miley deciding weather or not to move back home which is Nashville. Actually Nashville is a large city area and should make for a fun shooting also with all of the potential country star cross overs making cameos. HM is making pop and country music mix and introducing people really from both sides to give the other a chance. Disney is behind the project and it should be great once the
wheels are put in motion.
Yeah, got that info from the DVD, Zac said Utha but I wasn't exactly sure. Thanks for the clearification. All sounds good, then with regurads to both HSM and Hannah. Do you think that Miley will "guest star" again in HSM3, I hope she does.
Right, so the fliming is done. But why is DC holding back so much on the epis? I mean, if they finished Summer/Winter, then shouldn't DC at least be showing some epis. I mean, it's nearly Summer/Winter again. I just hope that they start showing the epis again soon. And yeah, your correct in saying that there are more un-showen epis here. I think there's about 10 or 11...
So, HSM3 should premeire in September (Has did HSM2 last year)? That's quite AWESOME!!! And the Nashville moive? I don't really know much about this. Could you please give me more info on this? Thanks JJ.
Also with that, is HM shoot in LA. The set, is it there, in LA? (Is that Los Angeles)???
Otherwise, all is sounds perfectly great, THANKS FOR THE INFO JJ!!! Hope everything goes as planned...

Yup you seem to be well informed :) HSM2 and 3 are/will be filmed in Salt Lake City,Utah and the cast will be the same from 2 to 3 except for 3 there will be more cameo appearances from DC stars; kinda like how Miley was at the end in 2 during the All For One number. Also yes S2 of HM completed filming and production a long time ago, like many months back during last summer or winter for ya south of the equator. There is like 7 or so unaired eps of HM S2 not shown in the states and probably more for you but they are all finished and awaiting to be shown. I was under the impression that the HM movie will film parts on location in and outside of Nashville, TN and this filming was set for April/May time. So now the appropriate writers can get to work and finish S3 and the movie script if not already done. S3 can begin shooting in April or even March if everyone is ready and people's sch. are free for them to be in
LA. I think what will happen is S3 will film whenever and then after that finishes and the eps are edited and complete then the Nashville movie will be like some series finale and come out next Jan. or so as HSM3 set to be out in Sept. this year Disney would want some space between the two. Keep being patience as the long delay between new eps is the result of the strike and is DCs way of trying to extend and keep things fresh for as along as they can.
Ah yes, that's awesome. So it is offically over now? So, if they start writing season 3 now, when do you think that Disney could start fliming it? Also, before the strike started, were all the season 2 epis finished writing and fliming? I'm asking this because there hasn't been a new epi here in S.A. for almost 3 months now...
And with HSM3, that's quite awesome that it's still the samr cast as I hoped. Utah, is where there going to shot. As I understand it, that's where the shoot HSM2?
Thanks for the info JJ.

Well my guess is before the strike there was a few full written scripts that Disney can act on now and begin production but like everything Im sure by now some would like some tweaking or revisions made before going full board into production. Also with TV shows the production company likes to film as much as they can in the shortest amount of time as to cut back on costs so scheduling is key.
HSM3 script has been completed some time ago and is on the waiting blocks for Mar/Apr filming in Utah. Yes crunch time is upon us and Disney too to start turning out some new stuff to keep their audience tuning in.

The Writers union have signed waivers to not picket and allow certain specific stuff to happen but as far as the strike being over it is not. There have been some more recently positive communication between both sides which is promising and if I were to guess a new contract could be signed in February if all goes well.
The reason I brought this up, about the strike being over is on that list I saw Brothers & Sisters... I think it said there were 10 unwriten epis or so.
Here in S.A. just last Thrus was the final epi of Brothers & Sisters,
and not one epi was missing. I think the first season had 26 or so epis. And that is what showed. Every epi, even though the list states not all were completed...
So, that's why I think the strike is over. Please someone correct me
if I'm wrong. But if the strike is over, which I hope, than filming for S3 can surely start when Miley's done with the tour...

Perhaps, there was no point, no, there was no actual point as it didn't make sense. Disney just put her face there for a few seconds becuase we all wanted to see her there, but certainly not like that!!! Anyway, she's got the concert moive, and the new up-coming movie, so it's alright, for the time being...
