Kelly came back from the party,she said,"thank you so much for
embarassing me in front of everyone like that! I can't beleive you!
Kelly's hair grew to midback since college,since Zack loved Kelly
with long hair,she grew it again,she brushed her gorgeous hair and
said,"Zack,you are too awful!I married a bum,you were never like this
when we were dating!" Zack ignored her,he said,"you are a self
centered tramp,and you are full of yourself,flicking your hair and
being a stuck up nerd!"Kelly said,"oh that's it,you are not getting
away with that!"Kelly and Zack went to sleep.Kelly got up the next
day,she called work and said that she wasen't going in,she had
personal matters to take care of.Kelly looked in the mirror and she
said,"oh that Zack.I will show him a thing or two,she decided to cut
her hair and change her look,she coulden't cut her hair herself,she
found it to hard,she went to a salon that took walk-ins,she went up
to the desk and the lady there said,"hi hun,how can we at Minnie's
Salon help you?"Kelly said,"I want to get my haircut."Kelly showed
the lady a picture of when she was in college,she said,"ok miss.I
want that hairstyle,it's necklength,but at least I'll be able to use
my hairstuff."Kelly said,"hurry.I have things to do."The lady
said,"ok hun,by the way.I'm Minnie,the owner of the salon,you are my
5th customer sofar to get a major haircut,someone was here this week
that had hair past her buttocks and had it cut really short,and the
head was free of any hanging hair.I will do your hair today,let's
shampoo your hair."Kelly said,"no,just cut it.I am in a rush.I'm on
my way to file for a divorce."Minnie said,"ok hun,follow me."Kelly
followed quietly,she was brought to a row of chairs.Minnie got the
scissors and cut the hair to the necklength style that Kelly
wanted,she then said,"you are beautiful no matter what length your
hair is."Kelly said,"thank you.I was getting tired of that style.I
grew it only because my soon to be ex begged me not to cut my hair
short,but I am divorcing him,so I will wear it how I want.How much?"
Minnie said,that'll be $8.00 sweetie."Kelly paid Minnie and took a
card,she thanked Minnie for taking her so quickly and doing the cut
fast and doing a great job under pressure,she snuck in 2 dollars for
a tip,and she left.Kelly went to a lawyer office,she said,"hi.I'm
Kelly Morris.I would like to file for a divorce from my husband
Zack.I have no appointment,but if a lawyer could see me.I'd be
grateful."Kelly noticed the lawyer walking be,she said,"Jeff,is that
you?"Jeff said,"oh my God!Kelly!Kelly Kapowski Morris!I know you
married Zack,it was all over the papers."Kelly said,"Jeff,you are a
lawyer now,but a dishonest one,or what."Jeff said,"no.I'm not the
same Jeff you knew.I'm now happily married with 2 girls.I mean 2
daughters.I've been married for 3 years."Kelly hugged Jeff and
said,"oh my goodness,well.I need a lawyer because I'm filing for a
divorce,could you be my lawyer?I'd be so grateful."Jeff said,"uh,yes,
certainly,we'll go to my office ,oh pardon me.I have a message in my
mailbox."Kelly saw the receptionest's expression.Kelly said,"he and I
went out for a short time.I was in highschool,he was in college."Jeff
said,"ok,my office is hard to find here,it's on the second floor in
the middle of a dozen or so rooms."Kelly said,"uh,ok,what will be the
fee for your services."Jeff said,"we'll talk about it later,now,if
you would kindly follow me.I'll take you to my office."Kelly
said,"sure.Let's go."Kelly said as they were walking,"Jeff.I have to
tell you,this divorce is easier on me than you think,but I don't want
to inconvenience you with my life."Jeff said,"no,by all
means,talk,it's ok,lots of clients have opened up to me and told me
even personal stuff.I'm used to it,but Kelly I know you honey,it hits
home when it's someone you know in trouble."Jeff said,"ok,in here.I
told you it was complicated."Kelly entered and sat down.Jeff shut the
office door and went to his desk,he sat down and said,"you will be
represented for free,no no.I don't want to hear about money.I want to
do this for you,the only way I can be paid for this is you being
happy again.I hate to see you upset like this."Kelly teared up and
she fought back the tears.Jeff said,"Kelly,you are about to cry,don't
keep it in,it's ok,let it out,you are safe here."Kelly said,"oh I'm
fine."Jeff said,"no you are not.I know you too well,you are breaking
up inside."Jeff went over,sat near Kelly and said,"oh honey,come
here."Jeff hugged Kelly,she broke down in his arms and sobbed."I'm
not happy at all!I married a loser,he called me useless and stuck up
tramp!I've tried to make a happy home for him,but he stabs me in the
back and accuses me of not caring or loving him enough to cook or
clean.Jeff!I've been so busy between work and a social life.I am just
so sick of him,it's gotten worse in the past month or so.I need to
leave him.I noticed a man staring at me one day.I could have gone up
to him and left with him but I am married,for now,until I can get a
divorce from him."Jeff hugged Kelly and said,"oh Kelly.I'm ever so
sorry about what you are going through,but it's ok now,you've got me
and my services for free,and now we need to think divorce.Jeff
grabbed the papers from his desk and sat near Kelly,she filled out
all the papers,when everything was done she started to sob.Jeff
grabbed her.Kelly sobbed in his arms,she was crying so much she
coulden't even talk.Jeff said,"let it out hun,let it out,it's ok".The
firm's secratery knocked.Jeff said,"come in,the secratery
said,"uh,excuse me but Mrs.Medifield called about the court case on
Thursday,and Mr.Johansen called 5 times,he said it's urgent that he
reaches you,his mother passed away this morning,he has to postpone
the appointment for tomorrow,the wake is tomorrow night,and the
funeral is the next day."Jeff said,"thank you Becky."Kelly said,"uh
Jeff,this case will be good for me.I need to get away from him".Kelly
said,"ok.I will be taking off."Jeff said,"if you need me at any time.
I will give you my home number,my cell phone number,and my beeper
number,if you need anything,even if it's just that you need a friend
to talk to.I'm always here for you Kelly."Jeff kissed Kelly and
said,"good heavens,it was so nice to see you again,they hugged and
Kelly said,"I agree,see you later love."Kelly left,she drove home and
plopped onto the sofa,she fell asleep.
