A traditional online
petition, like petitionspot. com for example, is generally a waste of time. Everyone (including disney) knows that people can and do sign them multiple times so no one really takes them seriously.
We've set up old fashioned paper petitions for some of the other shows we've been involved with (See: http://savedisneysh ows.org/petition / ) but for whatever reason a lot of people don't want to take the time to actually use that.
The third option, which was an original idea created at SDS, is what we call an "email petition." However, I seem to be the only one who knows how to properly do the labor on the back end to make this work, and I'm already committed to running three of these. I don't think I can handle doing another one.
Therefore, I would say that the paper petition
is the only viable option at this point. If at least a few people are interested in that, I can get it set up in a day or two.
But one way or another, I hope that people who care about the future of this show use the tools and resources on http://help. savedisneyshows. org/ to contact Disney.
